Since a lot of religious folk have a hard time with evolution. And atheist swear by it. Can't we all just get along.

Adam and eve supposedly started it all, right believers? Well if this is true and evolution were not, then how come we have many different races upon this giant rock? I think you could admit that creation exists and so does evolution. God, is the unsolved mystery in this time.

I am a skeptic myself but it has dissappointed me to see that some try to portray him as one. It's quite obvious, not even counting the testomonies of those who knew him and would offer that he was not a christian, that he was only using christianity for it's utility to accomplish his nationalistic goals.

And for christians, why do you point at hitler's rule and the holocaust as objective proof that atheism is from satan?
sure, no one would deny that nihilism and/or brutal utilitarianism can be a consequence of atheism, but it does not give any more merit to a supposedly false faith, right?

First I want to say that I have worked in a lodge for many years. I have made good friends with many people much much older then me.

With my grandparents though, my family expects me to let them cross bounderies and be rude to me and my kids 'because that is respectful and they are old'. My response was that I think that at their age they should be better at life and have less of an excuse to be rude and that I shouldn't have to silently 'take it' or be seen as disrespectful by my whole family (my family is huge on politeness and conformity and appearances rather then standing up for yourself).

Is it so wrong to not coddle them and be all close to them, because I don't like the way they treat me? I love them. I talk to them occasionally.. but I can't be close to someone who shows such rudeness in a loving and tender 'I only want what God wants for you' voice. I love them, but can't include them alot. I dont' cut them out, but am distant. Is my family right? Am I so awful?

on South Park they have episodes about religious things. really stupid religious things that you think can't POSSIBLY be true, but in reality they are. they aren't making fun of people, they are telling the truth. Like Scientology and Mormons. so, in the show Satan kicked Saddam Hussein out of Hell. He talked to God, and they made a deal that God would take him into heaven. So, Satan did in fact deny someone access to hell.

now, you can't deny that when South Park covers absurd religious topics, that they are always full of crap, cuz i know of at least 2 occasions that they weren't. Could such an occurance really happen?

The tone of an email is sometimes hard to read. Lately, I have recieved numerous emails that end with "please advise". I don't know if I'm reading into this too much but the phrase "please advise" seems to be a passive aggressive way of saying, "you figure this out and let me know what I need to know but don't know how to ask for." What do you think?

Some Christians think that God used evolution to create man. But Jesus said that every man will be raised to life and given an eternal body when he returns in his glory. So will we evolved a second time or how will we get this new body? Will our dead bodys turn into ooze and over millions of years reproduce us just as we are?

In this book it speaks of a false prophet who will persuade many. He tell children to go against their parent in Matt 10:34-36 and again in Matt 12:46-50 and again in Luke 14:26. In the old testament God the creator made it a commandment to honor you father and mother. It just seems to me that Jesus contradicts many of God's own teachings. Its very strange but for me good looking guys are purely 'easy on the eye' not sexually attractive. I like people who are pretty so to speak, but i cant stand the thought of doing anything sexual with them. Sure ive been madly in love with hollywood actors but even then sexualness dosent come into it, i just think their good looking or play great characters and stuff. Im definately not a lesbian, but i just cant understand whats wrong! Whenever my friends talk about their sex lives i cringe at the thought of the actual act. It seems rather disgusting to me. Ive never had a boyfriend or anyone even remotely interested in me, so im wondering if im just asexual or something?
