I am a Christian as well and see no problem with watching such videos. Many Christians believe in the theory of evolution and many don't. You need to make that decision for yourself. And you shouldn't feel wrong about researching. I don't see why watching educational programs of different viewpoints would be wrong from a Christian perspective.
As long as you look to God to help you discern truth in your life, there's no reason to fear other viewpoints.

Who's to say that God did not breath the life in an ape man and give him the spirit of Christ within him which would then make him beautiful as sin makes one look ugly over time.
That is not to say that you judge someone by their looks but you can tell if someone has lived a rough life and is full of bad. There outer appearance turns ugly as Satan was once the most beautiful angel but is now grotesque. The account Of Adam and Eve in the Bible is the beginning of the salvation history of man and Gods relationship to him. It is not a science book
If evolution is Considered you must admit that God is involved somewhere in that creation. On the other hand scientist have agreed that they do not have a true transitional fossil from ape to man

Some Christians think that God used evolution to create man. But Jesus said that every man will be raised to life and given an eternal body when he returns in his glory. So will we evolved a second time or how will we get this new body? Will our dead bodys turn into ooze and over millions of years reproduce us just as we are?
Revelations :
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

I am a Christian, and I have to tell you that I am a Science nut. I love to learn about certain things. It is crazy how those scientists make evolution look so real. But you know what? I haven't seen any monkeys making cavemen babies have you? You know, my boss at a ranch I used to work at said that the reason some animals look like they might have evolved from something else is a test of our Christian faith. God wants to know if you will still believe in him even if monkeys kinda look like human beings. But he made us special. All in His Image and yet so unique from one another. You are his daughter. And what does being a daughter of a king make you? A princess, not a monkey.

If you think it is wicked to read/watch things about evolution and yet are willing to do it, let me recommend a book for you. Kenneth Miller's _Finding Darwin's God_. He is a biologist (an author of one of the most widely used biology textbooks) and a Christian (his denomination is Catholic, and of course the Catholic church clearly teaches that evolution is the way things happened and not incompatible with Christian faith). It is a wonderful book, and at the very least you'll get wicked pleasure from reading it - and who knows, you might also learn a few things not only about biology, but about your faith!

No, it's fun to watch people speculating about the past. If you want to read something fun about dinosaurs then click on this link

Dragon History - Universal Concept in Ancient Cultures
Dragon history is nearly universal throughout the world's ancient cultures. Where did this global concept originate? How did societies throughout the world describe, record, draw, etch, sew and carve such creatures in such uniformity, if they did not witness these creatures during their lifetimes?...

the biggest thing is to know the Bible first. if you are really interested in biology and how things came to be, there are several sources. watching something like that does not make your faith weak. in fact, you should have knowledge of things so you can discern what is best. if anything, read around - there are many interesting christian books disputing or about evolution or Creationism. just be sure to be Bible-based with everything you do.

Surely you understand that there never were any dinosaurs. Their bones were created to throw off evil scientists from finding god. Besides the bones, there is no evidence that they really existed, is there. That should convince you that they never really existed. This is a game that god is playing on scientists. If you fall for it, you will end up in everlasting hell. Is it worth it. Don't fall for this trap.

I grew up the son of a pastor, and I enjoy these types of videos as well. It's up to you what you believe and do not believe.
I always thought it strange that many people in my church wanted me to believe that Christ was born into the world by a virgin, but evolution was impossible.
I tend to keep an open mind these days.
