Make a stepping stone for the garden with the hand and foot prints of your child, also the year. This could then become something to do every year or so.
I got my mold in a kit from the craft store, and just use concrete from like Home Depot to make more. My parents have them for every grandchild. Each kid got to go spend the day with them, collect things like shells and small stones to put in them. then helped with the design. Every year they all want to go see that their stone is still there.

I have a 14 month old so I am looking for similar gift ideas for my husband. I am thinking about a getting a printed bound photo book - you send in digital pics and get back a great looking bound photo album or a digital phot keychain and I would load pictures on it before I give it to him. I found both these gifts and other ideas on the website below.

this is something creative which would be liked and you may desire to have exciting doing: Make up a crossword puzzle and have each and every of the tricks be own interior moments and jokes that in the time of straight forward terms you 2 might understand on the subject of the toddler. positioned it on a poster board and upload some clipart and a few photos to it! The crossword puzzle might desire to be time ingesting and somewhat no longer person-friendly ... you may desire to do the comparable theory with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle. positioned your workstation skills to paintings! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo photos seek, replica them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to positioned on posterboard. Use graph paper, and photos from magazines while you're no longer as stable on the workstation, and it will provide it a selfmade feeling.

Make a onesie for your baby to wear.....with a message just from the baby to daddy. Put it on the baby during the night so that daddy sees it first thing in the morning when baby wakes up!!! I did this for my husband on the first VALENTINES day after we had our first child and he really thought that was pretty cool!!
Just buy a plain onesie and some iron on transfers....you will be able to use your computer and printer to create the tranfer. Iron it on....and PRESTO!! This will be a gift to be remembered and one you can hold onto as a keepsake!
Good luck and have fun!

Hi,
A painting of you, baby and himself. You need three photos to do it. Yourself, the baby and himself. OR one photo if all are inside.
So, then you go to http://www.paintyourlife.com/ upload the photos and they will do the rest. You can even mail photos.
This painting can be done in pencil, water colors and several other options. This is something he will remember and love not just for that day. Something that lasts long.

Take a nice picture of your baby and frame it for him. For a pricier gift, have professional pictures of your husband and baby taken. Or make a DVD slideshow of his first year as a father. You can make them on a computer if you have a scanner.
