No, the Bible says that the mark will be in the forehead or the hand.
The forehead signifies your thoughts and the hand the works that you do.

This is what literalism gets you. People have been waiting generations for this to happen. "Mark of the Beast! Mark of the Beast!" Fundamentalists have been on the lookout, knowing for sure that one of these days it's bound to happen. But it didn't make any sense before the mid-20th Century.

Credit cards started them thinking. There were numbers on those things. You held them in your hand. And more and more people started using them. Hmm. But money was still around. Okay, wait.

Bar codes showed up in the late 70s. Aha! They were soon on nearly everything you could buy. Just imagine the day one of those shows up on somebody's wrist! But it didn't happen, just talk. And it sure did seem to speed up grocery checkouts.

Now there's talk of RFIDs and microchips. Getting pretty sneaky, you can't even see the things! But nothing in people yet. What's next?

Every time an identification system gets a makeover, an upgrade in efficiency, people look around for the Beast. Then, when they realize what the improvement can do for them, they buy right in.

And cash is still around. Banks don't like it much but they don't have the power to eliminate it. There are still too many loose ends. Bankers aren't demons after your soul, they're just trying to maximize profit. But even if they were, no one is ever going to be able to put a "mark" on anyone, because of that Bible verse. (Any "system" that could work would be so slick that no one but a cave-dweller or a loon would consider opting out.)

So on it goes. "Mark of the Bea-- woah! How cool is this?" Over and over. The significant play can't be made because everyone already has the box score. And any play that could be made would obviously not be the big one.

Every good story with a prophecy in it will twist that prophecy into unrecognizeability. Would the Bible be any different? Would it be able to say anything that ONLY Christians could figure out?

there are various claims obtainable of what the Mark of the Beast is or would be. It replaced into suggested at one time to be the SS#. worshiping the Lord on the 1st day of the week, the UPC bar code, digital chip, bio-chip, microchip, or VeriChip which would be planted below the exterior etc. yet what each and every physique isn't doing is calling the scriptures wisely, because of the fact the Mark of the Beast would be a literal mark, a actual mark, like a vaccination shot which will raised and alter right into a malignant sore. In Revelation sixteen:2 says "people who take the Mark will later have a actual reaction, "it grew to become a loathsome and malignant sore", (NASB( "a bad and evil sore" (KJIIV), "there got here a sore---undesirable and grievous---to adult adult males, those having the mark of the beast" (youthful's Literal Translation).

Don't listen to anyone who says what it will be. The only reason people say micro chip is because in todays world that is the most logical way for the mark to work. Two hundred years ago they would have said something different and in another two hundred years something different again.

There will be a mark and it will be on the forehead or right hand and you won't be able to buy stuff without it. Until it happens don't pre-guess that is what the Jews did with their messiah and because he didn't match their guesses they missed him.

God rarely works in the way people think he will.

No one knows for sure what the mark of the beast will be. It would make sense for it to be a microchip as they have found safe ways of implanting them into the skin.

Just a note, the new sabbath was established in the new testament. Only Jews stick with the old sabbath because they don't believe Jesus was the messiah. But Sunday is the day of worship because it was the day He died.

And Jesus did not say that looking for signs is foolish. He actually told us what to look for and to be ready when he calls us home. What Jesus mentioned to be foolish is to believe someone when they say, "Hey everybody, I'm Jesus! I'm back!" Like that guy who lives in Florida.

The bible does not say how the mark of the beast will be on one's forehead or hand. But, the way things are leading to end times, it would make sense that it could be. We are heading towards a cashless society which will usher in a way for the antichrist to mandate the mark in order to buy or sell anything ----which of course sustains life. Once you receive this mark, you have chosen satan to be lord of your life and no longer have the opportunity to turn to God. Read Revelation. God bless

What's in your forehead? Your brain, and what does one do with their hands? work

To have the "Mark of the beast" is to be deceived by Satan thinking his is Jesus. And Worship his one world system and him as Jesus.

You could be microchiped from head to toe, and it would not change the way you think or worship.

So you will either have the "Mark of the Beast" or the "Seal of GOD/truth" in you forehead. It's one or the other.

June m is correct, a tree is known by it's fruit. If you are seen or known to help the beast by brain or hand power then that is the "mark" of the beast. Good work there June . It is nice to see that there are some people who know what they are talking about.

i really think the mark of the beast is the bar code that is on products now the whole world is set up for it and with the popularity of tattoo parlors it would only take a couple of months to tattoo a bar code on billions of people. inserting a microchip may be possible but too time consuming to do billions of people

I don't get into the endtimes stuff and trying to decipher what the mark of the beast will be and who the anti-Christ is.

Jesus Christ Himself told us He will return at an hour of His choosing and no man on Earth knows the hour. He also said to seek signs and wonders is foolish, so Christians should be about the business of growing in holiness and winning converts to the true Faith.

God bless you.

I would say no. It is called the MARK of the beast. To me that would be a visual mark, not a micro chip hidden under the skin.
