The Newtonian worldview is dead, and quantum mechanics has opened a door to the soul in the foundations of the material world. Likewise traditional religion is dead (or dying), and the critique of the Enlightenment has led to reformulations of traditional faith which are wholly compatible with science. If truth is one, then surely whether we come at it through science or religion, we'll reach the same place in the end.

Why can’t we worship God without fighting over how

English and Arabic are two separate languages. One would be foolish to assume that we would use the same name for God. We say Allah, you say Lord. Both are God, the one and only God. We may worship in different ways, and in our own languages, but why must we fight over which is the correct way? We should worship God and stop fighting over how we do so.

I am trying to figure out a way to remove my parents nationality description from my birth certificate, Im border line white skinned and can almost pass as a normal person. I would however like to eradicate my Mexican origin on paper since I would like to get married and have kids someday preferably to a white woman so my kids dont look so Mexican and like i mentioned, If i can have this mexicanism removed from my birth certificate i can spare my children the dreadfulness and embarassment of being of Mexican descent. Does anyone know how i can wipe that off my birth certificate? I know that in the 60's any one who wasnt considered black was recorded as caucassion, but unfortunately for me i wasnt born around that time. Anyone have any suggestions?

Has the world gone completeley mad??? How is any sportsperson worth that much........I know a lot of people will be saying 'Oh you wouldn't be saying that if it was you' but get real no matter how good he is ( and thats debateable) there is no way that such a rediculous sum should be paid for such a 'job'. There are people out there doing far more important & technically demanding things to enrich / improve the lives of countless people who get nothing like that per year (or more). I think its time that there was some sort of system to cap earnings of sportspeople and the like. Apart from that ludicrous wage he will also carry on 'earning'from sponsorships etc..... its immoral........What do you think???

and thanked you and sent you on your way or a cashier that greeted you, stared into your eyes, asked if you wanted to buy anything from the register area (this includes suggesting candy bars for the kids you might have with you, thus putting you in a situation with your kids if you didn't want to buy them candy), pushes extra items on you when you buy any electronic item (extended service plans, etc), and tries to push a credit card on you? How about when you are next in line, do you want to wait while the cashier goes through this 5 minute ritual or do you want them to finish with that customer quicker so you can get on your way?
