When the spirit soul comes in contact with the material universes he first takes birth in the lower species of life such as plants and animals. From there after many births he takes birth in the body of a human being. Every time the body dies (plant, animal and humans) he takes another birth usually in a higher specie. Only while in a human body the spirit soul has full intelligence to develop love for the Supreme and get out of this cycle of repeated birth and death.

This is a tricky question, because there is no certain. It falls into the category of adiaphora, I think, meaning that there is nothing that must be believed one way or the other as necessary to salvation in regards to the future state of beloved pets, animals and the rest of creation. At the same time I will try to give you an answer. In one sense neither pets or other animals can enter Heaven because the Passion, Death, and Resurrection is effective only for the sons and daughters of Adam, because God sent His Son to die for for the sins of humanity, because only Man has a rational soul infused by the Spirit of God with life. The lower animals may have real souls and a real animal intelligence, but they are animal souls, not human. The same with plantlife. Again, Heaven, the abode of God is a spiritual state, not a physical 'place' -there is no location we can point to 'out there' and say, "That is where Heaven is." Only spirit and spiritual bodies can inhabit Heaven. When we die and are resurrected at the General Resurrection for the Last Judgement, we are given new, 'spiritual bodies', in place of our former 'fleshly' bodies, which we shall keep through eternity. These bodies are transformed from what we know of as flesh and body, because corruptible flesh cannot inherit incorruptibility (1) Rocks and similiar inanimate objects do not receive a spiritual body, because they are inanimate. Animals with their animal souls (having the breath of life (2) ), and plants with their vegetable souls (in this, following Aristotle). On the other hand, in the Book of Revelation, John is given a vision of a New Earth and a New Jerusalem, and the Heavenly City coming down to earth. We are not told, however, what the New Jerusalem was populated with. We are told though, elsewhere in Scriptures that in Christ Jesus all things are made new, (3) so the possibility exists that God has made a place for animals and the rest of creation. In the end, though, all I can say that the future state of animals is not something that has been definitely Revealed. We are free to entertain our own opinions, but we are not free to demand of anyone that they believe these opinions against their conscience. Again, as to your question "did the humans before then all go to heaven?" That too, is left to the mercy of God. We are not explicitly told that they did or did not. Even the righteous souls among the prophets could not enter Heaven before the coming of the Son. Now, it is an accepted teaching that, Christ Jesus preached to those who had gone before, when He descended to the world of the dead, between His death and resurrection (in fact the Orthodox Church calls the Icon of the Resurrection "The Harrowing of Hell"), but the Scriptures are silent on this, as of the final fate of beloved pets and other animals, but as we believe that Christ came to reconcile all things to Himself, I have no problem believing that the message of salvation was offered to those who died before the birth of Christ, by Christ Himself, and that those who accepted it, Jew and Gentile, both, are in Heaven.

THE SIMPLE ANSWER IS NO................
the concept of heaven and hell is for only humans not for pets, animals and plants...
because...
humans are only species who are free to act...god has evolved them on good nature....but humans can either spend life on gods/natures principles and to not pollute their souls...also they can adopt any wrong/evil path.....and can pollute their souls...also being most intelligent species... humans got responsibility..to see their purpose of life...and to act accordingly......their chemistry of mind...can understand spiritual things...can have spiritual experiences...they can see dreams..they can talk .....while animals and plants...are just a living things... they are bound to spend their life on that nature on which they evolved..i.e lion cant eat grass and goat cant prey...so there is no concept of heaven or hell for them.. they will die and just be a part of soul..they cant never be questionable...of their deeds..because they don't have ability of cross the limit on which they born...or don't have ability to deny the nature on which they created...also no where in any authentic book....there mentioned that plants or animals will go to heaven or hell...so they will die and disintegrated...and will never raise again spiritually..in second life...i hope this will help you in better understanding

Only the spirit can enter the spirit world, and animals have a soul but no spirit. The spirit in humans came from the breath of God at creation and is eternal. So animals do not go to heaven, when they die they cease to exist.

As an Atheist I do not belief in any hell or heaven for any one to go to. It is just made up by man, nobody has been there and came back to tell you about it. Xians say they belief in heaven, but are afraid of death [and go to heaven], ain't that odd?

I'm Jewish; we believe that all life comes from God, and that it is where all life returns when it is finished with its stay on earth. We don't believe in a heaven in the same sense as Christianity or Islam does, but simply in a re-joining with God.

The souls move onto another plane of consciousness, another dimension, into the warm, comforting light.
They may later incarnate into another physical body to learn a lesson.
And no, I don't believe in heaven or hell.
