It's getting bleeped because the computer is set up that way; sounds like some programmer someplace didn't have the good sense to allow for CORRECT usage of the term. Maybe they DIDN'T go to college! I think it's a common misconception that there is a person "back there" doing the bleeping, when in fact it's a computer program, and a computer is just about the stupidest machine in the world; it's just stupid at a VERY high speed ;-)

I assume it's because some people can be juvenile and make stupid jokes about the word. And I agree, obviously the people making jokes/bleeping it out must not realize what an honor it really is.
