You will find out the older you get the quicker you recognize bulls**t when you see it . .

I wish people would try and see the world from the elders perspective.
Why do they have to "*****" about every thing? Maybe because they're scared, they've lost a lot of loved ones (the older you get, the more often you go through that), their children have moved out and away, they're lonely, their body is starting to fail them, and younger people don't respect them?
I'd be quite bitchy as well, if that was me. I hope the next generation will be more respectfull towards the elders than our generation are.
And maybe we should try and listen to them, every once in a while - they do have an entire live worth of widsom, they can share with us if we are willing to listen.

personally old people do complain a lot but I think it's because they keep forgetting they complained about it already. I think they are so hilarious. I laugh and laugh because I wanna get to be that old and be a pest to everyone (70+) Matter of fact I wanna get old enough to just sit around drooling and farting just because and know I am doing it to piss people off. A lot of older people I know 65+ think young people are selfish, lazy, don't want to work, have a bad attitude, and call in sick too much, have a smart mouth, little respect and regard for others, do not dress appropriate for the job and have no respect for the knowledge older people have. So everybody is complaining about everybody and everything.

Why do young people think they have the right to ***** all of the time. I have worked around a lot of people under 35 and they are the laziest , bossiest, arrogant bunch I've ever met.

People under 40 think the world owes them something and continue to live under the protection of those same "old" people they complain about.

Older people are able to recognize when there is real bullsh!t going on...young people just imagine it. Grow up or you'll seem too soon old and too late smart to the rest of us.

First all " old " people do not do so.....however, I am 67 years old and I hate " Old People " who whine & complain constantly..perhaps they are miserable with being alive and want the rest of us to be the same...whatever. All I can say in conclusion is that I know older people who are very much still " in the game "...myself, I ride my motorcycle...chase the wife around the house...and in general damn well enjoy..as I intend to keep doing until I croak...so do not say " all " old folks some do not fit that profile at all.

Sounds like you do not have the personality or temperment to be working with old people. Do them a favor and get a different job. Perhaps with animals.

first of all, I am old and I do feel like I have the right to ***** all the time because I earned it! And, NO, all your other answerers are wrong it is not from lack of sex cuz guess what? we old folks are getting just as much as you young folks, ok?
it's cuz we were young once, too, and had to go through all the crap you are going through right now and some, not all, have had rough times and like I said..
we EARNED it so suck it up and ignore it and one day you will be able to do the same with pride!

Too much time on their hands and they have lots of time to think and they remember when things were different in the good old days.
