I dreamed i got chased by a rottweiler dog. He was in a field and when he saw me he came after me and i ran and jumped on top of a car. Then i woke up. And my dad dreamed the same thing twice but he dreamed they was after him in his dream. What does this mean?

the same can be asked of americans, germans or italians.

I reckon we live in an age where labels are getting old. And an older generations ideas about identity are changing. This might create a crisis of identity in masses, or create a humanity that has no labels anymore.

One of the Ten Commandments tells followers not to worship man-made idols. Patriotism seems like worship of a flag, which seems to resemble an idol. The nation-state is a man-made legal entity. The bible also says that the nations are but dust (Isaiah 40:15). So I was wondering whether patriotism is appropriate Christian beheavior.

Almost always, a shy person gets mistaken for an arrogant person, who does not want to hang out with anybody and only chooses their friends, although, this may seem as no big deal, it is a problem for the person, trust me, I used to have that problem in high school and even the first year of college… it’s another problem that I’m a girl and guys who were interested never made a move ‘cuz my shyness was reflected as “I’m too good for you” which is everything but what I really am as a person… I wanna know what people think about people who have that problem and if you had the same problem how did you overcome it?

There are probably thousands spent on the adverts on the back of cigarette packets, along with all the adverts they put on the tv. Do you think that they make much of a difference at all? The reason I'm asking is that I'm a non smoker and always have been, so I guess a smokers opinion would be the best answer.

I understand it's fiction, but how much of what is written in the novel or shown in the film is widely-accepted historical fact in the Christian community?

With all due respect, I've always wondered the First Council of Nicaea actually solidified the right path for the future of Christianity, or did it make things worse?

I CONSTANTLY see "it's just a theory. It's JUST a theory." I assume that by "theory", you mean "an assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a guess; conjecture; speculation".

Guess what, folks?

That's NOT what it means in the context of science.

"A scientifically accepted general principle supported by a substantial body of evidence offered to provide an explanation of observed facts & as a basis for future discussion or investigation."

"A logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena, originating from &/or supported by experimental evidence. A systematic & formalized expression of all previous observations that is predictive, logical & testable."

"A theory is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based upon proven hypotheses & verified multiple times by detached groups of researchers."

Why do people have SUCH a problem with this? HONESTLY???
