NOTHING!!! they are the same thing! the lowest form of scum on the earth I say first castrate them all then a bullet straight between the eyes! then cremate the bastards to rid the world of them and to give them the proper send off the hell!

I think the only diffference is the actual act. A molestor is one who has actually perpetrated the crime and the pedophile is one who actually has the perverse desire in which children are the preferred sexual objects. In other words, someone could be a pedophile by belief and not carry out the act, but carrying out the act makes them a pedophile and a molestor. That is just my break down of the differentiating line of the two. It is sad that children have to be subjected to either one.
We need to pray for all children subjected to this-we just never know who is really suffering!

Good question. Never really thought of it before. I would guess that a child molestor is someone who touches the child where they shouldn't, and a pedophile is someone who may get off on the thought, but doesn't commit the crime.... I don't know though! Lol

a child molestor is someon who has physicly had a sexual experience with a minor. child molestors are not always above 18 though. anyone who sexually interacts with a young child is a child molestor also. a pedophile can be someone who just has fantasies about much younger people. however, this could be an 80 year old having cybersex with an 18 year old though etc.

I would say the Molester actually touched/fondled/even penetrated the child. The Pedophile gets a kick out of looking at them in person,books,magazines. Both are still sick a.s.s freaks,no matter which way you view it!.
