You're closer than most the world will not "end" per se but it will go to a new beginning and earth will have to get rid of its old ending

2 Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

I believe that the world will not end in the "literal sense" (Armageddon) as some believe.
The current energy is changing and there is a growing awareness while many of us are releasing the "veil of forgetfulness" that we created for ourselves.
God does not control what we choose to create for ourselves. what I mean is that we have free will and when the soul (us) chooses to come to Earth and experience in the physical reality.
We are coming to a moment of a realization that things are not working and we desire changes. This is a realization that we are all one and not separate from each other but part of the collective consciousness which is part of the all (God,Life)

Have you ever heard the prayer Jesus used to teach up how to pray? "God's kingdom to come, his will be done ON EARTH as in heaven"
(Revelation 21:3-4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with MANKIND, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

There will probably be an end to the Earth as we know it. There is supposed to be a thousand year reign of Christ on Earth, followed by the end times. This is of course from a book. There are many such books. Truth is where you find it.

The new Earth is the old Earth restored. So, yes...the earth will come to an end, but not a final end.
