Adam was removed from the earth to the Garden,what was happening in the world while Adam was in the Garden.We know that there were men in the world as Adam was created because none of those could till the earth.How long were the here before Adam and Eve were ejected from the Garden?

How essential is it to have faith or belief in a religion, philosophy or creed?
We all seek to know who we are and where we come from, but is it really necessary to our survival and do we loose anything by not having a faith? Is it sufficient to say we don't have the answers and are content to live without knowing or believing that we ever will have all the answers?
For thousands of years mankind has put their faith in hundreds of different belief systems. These belief systems have reflected different cultures and ways of seeing and experiencing the world.

Since the 20th century, science and technology have provided us with answers to questions about ourselves and our world. In a real sense then, we have put our faith or belief into science and human enguinity, rather than into some unseen higher power.

Is there something intrinsic to our nature that requires having a faith or system of beliefs? Would society fall apart without it?

Mother was cremated four years ago. How can I cope with this in my beliefs? I wanted her to have resurrection, then she talked of cremation. How does all this come together in belief of God. Is it like the movie Casper where some form of transference takes place to give back a body?

I am confused. I don't know how to tell people at work I think I am gay. I hang out with younger men and have many feelings for them. I try to hide them but its hard. I have tried to date a woman but it didn't work out. I feel all warm and tingly inside when I see a strapping young man. People at work will surely judge me because I am in a male dominated, masculine profession. Should I tell them, and how do I avoid conflict. Should I stop going to the locker room and talking to them when they are changing even though I don't change there? I am sure some people know, because I take all the young new guys under my wing and mentor them. I have even mistakingly made moves on a few.

Laziness and ignorance genes, then would there still be poverty and hunger in the world?

Exactly what do you believe in? Yourself's?
Ive never worked side by side with an atheist at a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, mission trips for disaster relief, helping to fix homes of senior citizens that cant afford to pay contractors, food distribution centers, etc. etc.
What kind of charities do atheists support? Planned parenthood, save the whales, free Tibet, PETA etc. etc.?
I guess I just dont get it.?!
