Laziness and ignorance genes, then would there still be poverty and hunger in the world?

I mean people would get off there butts and do something, not only that but they would know what to do and they would know not to have kids if they cant feed them?

I wish.
I live in a developing Asian country and I agree that laziness and ignorance and perhaps an element of fear of change/instability is one of the major factors where poverty stricken people remain poor.
That and the fact that the education and political systems have taught them to rely on hand-outs rather than self-reliance and critical thought to help their plight.

Ignorance- in terms of poor family planning? Absolutley. I can't understand why so many Westerners never link poverty and overpopulation together.
The countries with the worst poverty problems are those with populations that outmatch their resources- Africa, India, China (yes HUGE problems- I lived there), Indonesia, most of SE Asia.
The single, primary reason for poverty then, must be too many people having too many children, for which they lack the resources to effectively care for, thus the cycle continues.
The solution I feel, is to end any aid which does not allow people to develop self-sufficiency, and that includes all handouts such as food & medicine- because otherwise these people will never learn to help themselves.

Reminds me of the two blind men I knew in another town I used to live in.

Mr G: walked with a cane. Came into the store and immediately recited a list of items needed and whoever was supposed to stop immediately what they were doing and go fetch the items. Would encounter a street, stop at the curb and then latch on to the first person he came across to help him cross the street. Had no job, collected disability.

Larry: Had his dog, Shasta who would help him with everything; crossing the street, laundry, shopping, etc. He was working, as a DJ in a radio station.

When ever I hear someone tell me they can't for whatever reason, I think of them as a Mr. G. When ever I see someone who has a disadvantage in life and they still trod on, doing the best they can, I think of them as a Larry.

I think of all the people with downs syndrome and very low IQ's who live on their own, working and paying rent and wonder why all these people who are more then capable are living on welfare.

I even have orders which a techniques outweigh the birds that I breed and the orders are orders from the produce save. maximum birds are hand raised and that i do no longer pull them out of the nest until days in the past fledging and that i've got no longer any difficulty education them as i think i'm very chook savvy. chook breeding is on no account uncomplicated and the time and money that I placed into those birds a techniques outweighs my debt on the tip of the day. I seek the RSPCA for birds on an popular foundation as i might supply any chook a house. i've got no longer got here across one yet waiting to be placed to sleep.

Genes are not the problem. Its human nature. Greed. Lust. This was the problem the Communist had. On paper they had a perfect Utopian society. Human nature turned it into a nightmare.
