Bad Luck/Good Luck is just a Myth,, You really should get ideas like that out of your system coz it's all in your head.
Do whatever you like, whenever you like, it doesn't matter what happens coz theres nothing called bad luck, its just somethin' someone stupid invented after a bad day!!
Cheer up, when you believe in something & keep your outlook positive, everything will end up that way, & vise versa.

My mother thought it was bad luck to take the tree down before Jan 1. I still don't take my tree down until Jan 1(as bad as my luck is, why chance it!)

I always leave mine up until Jan. 2nd or 3rd. It has nothing to do with luck. Its called tradition. I make a game out of it with the grandchildren. And they have fun. So, basically its totally up to you when you want to take it down. Just have fun doing it.

Nope. Mine usually come down on New Years Day or shortly thereafter and I do not seem to have any more bad luck than usual.

No, there is no such think as bad luck. However, most people do take them down by the 2nd week in January. (Not me-I leave them up until February!)

Paul,
LUCK does NOT exist. GOD is in control. satan has been defeated. Have fun and take 'em down when you find it convenient. Have a great Lord's Day.
