We are all parts of God or sons if you want to put it that way. Jesus was not an exception to this rule.

Jesus never referred to himself personally as God, nor was it a part of his teachings. This idea evolved in the 4th century ad as a part of roman catholic doctrine. When the other christian sects split with Catholicism they kept this heresy and made it a part of their doctrine

Love and blessings Don.

The problem is, too many people have changed the word of God. This is why there are still queastions on whether Jesus is God or not, which hundred's of years ago would have been a laughable question. Jesus did not come down to earth to proove to everyone that He is God. That wasn't his purpose, he died and rose again to save us, which is the main point of God's life here on earth. When you begin to ponder on these types of questions, look at the belief system of those religions that have been here from the very beginning. The Eastern Orthodox, Catholics to a lesser extent, these are the religions that have not changed the doctrine of Christ. When you look at many American Born religions, you see no parallel to the way the desciples handed down the faith.

Remember, that Arius, was the first person to start preaching this treachery of Jesus not being God, and that God created Jesus. In the beginning, The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit were one, the Incarnation of God to earth is what saved us from our sins.

The reason people doubt that Jesus is God, is becuase it's just so much easier on our sanity to beleive this. God created Jesus, Jesus is the Son, it's over. But that this not true, and the belief in this is a Harasy.

agitating on this subject can yield no possible positive result, which means continually bringing it up might come under some of the following scriptures and if it does then you might want to leave it alone
Gal. 5 at about 21,, 1COR 6:starting at 9and Rom 1:29, causing strife over issues that in the end do not matter is a mistake, and doing such things like this which retards the goal of being in one accord are against the will of God.

Jesus never actually say He is God but does say some very similar things.

The relationship between God and Jesus is not one the mprtal mind can trully understand. You can not even explain to an athiest your new relationship with God so how are you going to explain their relationship not having experienced it.

May God bless you and give you more important areas to teach in. Like accountability in the church, and how to choose leaders.

Everybody knew Jesus was son of man and was man until the council of Nicea back during when Constantine found it fit to unite his people who were mainly pagan and those who followed Jesus.

So he made a compromise. They actually argued over Jesus's divinity (and back then things could only be divine unless they were directly of God). And they concluded that he was of God. Sorta connected to Him and is therefore like God.

The point is they made a grave mistake which has led many to atheist beliefs and a lot of confusion too because there can only be one God, and the rest being His creatures.

This only proves that the majority of people out there would not have followed him unless they thought he was the direct descendant of God Himself.

Whereas all the prophets before Jesus were all human and they were still God sent and divine.

That is the challenge made from even islamic scholars that no one can find any clue in any of the bible that Jesus (Peace be upon) ever said 'I am God or I am the son of God'.
This man-made belief. Jesus (peace be upon) is quoted saying 'I am the slave of Allah (God) and I am given a book by Allah.
He was the messenger of God like other messengers such as Adam, Abraham, Noah, Lot, Isaac, Ismail, Mosus and the last messenger Muhammad (may peace be upon them all).

Jesus said in John 10:30 'I and my Father are one (God)' and in John 17:21 'that they all may be one, as You, Father are in Me, and I in You . . .' Jesus is God, the second Person of the Trinity, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Jesus claimed to be the Son of Man, however He called God His Father, and He said that if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father, For the Father is in me and I am in the Father.

When Pilot asked if Jesus is the Son of God, Jesus said, 'You have said it, but you did not get it from Me, you had to have had it revealed to you.

You should spend a little time in the WORD perhaps.
Several times, Jesus said He is God, ESPECIALLY in the BOOK OF JOHN...Jesus Said,"If you have seen me, you have allready seen the Father".
Read John.
DJH
That is why He was persecuted and put to the DEATH.
People said He was calling Himself God.
Which I for one believe He is.
