Not sure about fireworks, but this looks cool:
Barcelona's Agbar Tower is one of the city's new landmarks and it is from there that TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio are going to broadcast the twelve chimes that will announce the arrival of 2007.
The building is equipped with an innovative system of illuminations which will provide an original show of light and music to accompany the chimes.
Presenters Tomàs Molina and Mònica López will have the job of telling viewers and listeners when they can eat the twelve grapes to the backdrop of this amazing spectacle.
According to the director of Televisió de Catalunya (TVC), Francesc Escribano, these will be the most spectacular New Year chimes in TV3's history .
Nevertheless, he has asked people not to got to the tower itself as you need to see the show from a distance to appreciate it.
And, as it is silent, you will also need to watch TV3 or listen to Catalunya Ràdio to understand what's happening.
In previous years, viewers and listeners have been able to celebrate the arrival of New Year from towns and villages around Catalonia, for example, Cadaqués, Cervera and Sitges, as well as the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona.

Going downtown to see a big fireworks display. I like the pretty ones, but don't care much for the loud boomers. That's about as much "sparks" as I see flying this year, LOL.
