is the only way of proving god`s existence by religion?i do not like religion and i like to prove existence of god scientifically.i do not think many rules of religions r logical.they belong to many years before and were useful for those days.i think god gave us braion to use it so we should use it,cause wisdom makes us near to god.
so i want every one to say if they believe in god through religion or science or through both of them.thanks

bear with me. It's a long question to ask, but I've been dying to know for years.

Why, when Christians pray (esp fundy typs) they use a certain kind of "language" they NEVER use outside of prayer. In particular they use the word "just" a lot. It's the most bizarre thing to me. "Lord, today, we just ask that you just bless us Lord. And we just want to praise you..."

Does anybody know what I mean, and most importantly --- WHY do you talk like that? Please help!!

Let me preface this- rape is a horrible thing. But in the state of Maine, if a woman has one drink, then has sex with someone and regrets it, its legally rape. That just seems a little extreme. If she's shitfaced drunk and you have to carry her to a bed because she's passed out, then yeah, I'd call that rape, but one drink?

I'm a girl, but I have alot of guy friends that have suffered over this.. girls will turn around after agreeing to sex and call it rape to get revenge or to make themselves feel better about it. Then women who are legitimately raped won't say a word! I just don't get it.

Ladies- keep a friend with you who makes you go home at the end of the night.. if you're really intrested in a guy, get his number and call when your sober!

Gents- jesus, guys, keep it in your pants and call her when your sober!

Anyway, what are people's opinions on this? Whats rape and what isn't?

The Bible says if we don't forgive others he will not forgive us. So does this mean, that if someone has more to forgive than most, does God give them more understanding and patience, or does he judge them the same as someone who has endured little, with only one person to forgive? How can a person with more to forgive find it easier to understand this if they are not given more patience. For instance, some people who have been abused for years by several people, and it might take them longer than someone who just has to forgive a friend who betrayed them once. Does God not see a difference?
