I think to "command" anyone to do anything negates the divine within. It also sets up a parent/child relationship which I have frankly outgrown when it comes to how I express my spirituality. Instead, I try to have, and work towards, a more adult relationship with the divine. One where there is an interchange of love and respect, and as I grow spiritually, thoughts and ideas that I am more capable of understanding and accepting. Consequently, if I were to write anything of this sort, I would call them the 10 Commitments rather than Commandments. Meaning, when you have grown and are ready and able to fully understand, then you are more able to commit yourself to a way of life that more closely reflects the divine intention. As an example...
1) When you feel and fully comprehend the horror that impacts family and friends at the deliberate taking of a life, you will commit yourself to supporting all life.
This is far better than, Thou Shalt Not Kill, because it puts the onus on the individual and shows them the end goal of their personal spiritual development.

Every human being is equal in dignity and rights and should be treated with respect.
Each person is free to pursue happiness and seek personal fulfillment in any way he chooses, so long as he harms no one and does not interfere with the right of others to do the same. Those who live in a civilized society recognize that they must strive for a reasonable balance of their needs and wants against the needs and wants of others in order to coexist in harmony.
Parents are morally obligated to do their best to provide for the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of their children.
All human beings are entitled to equitable treatment before the law. Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.
The rest can be drawn from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which I consider to be a much better, complete, and rational statement than the Decalogue.

Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
When in another’s lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
Do not harm little children.
Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him
