I pray whatever the Holy Spirit leads me to pray. Every situation is different.

I usually pray for their well-being, or something of the like depending on the circumstances, but I ALWAYS surrender my opinion to God (when praying for others or myself). I know enough to know that I don't know. He is the Almighty, Omniscient, and so I pray that He may make the final decision; "that everything may work out for the best" through His judgement.
Praying for His discretion helps me to deal with the world--the good and the bad. Even if things ostensibly go wrong, I know that He has exercised His divine will, and everything has worked out for the best (even if it doesn't seem like it).

If I know someone is ill, I ask God to help them to get well. We must pray for things that is according to His will. Some people simply say God, take care of this person and help them to get well according to your will. Amen

I don't use words either when I "pray." For me, prayer is focusing one's energy in any designated fashion. I would keep the person in mind while resonating positive health for the ill individual. Prayer could be yet another practice for mind control. At least for me it is because it goes hand-in-hand with meditation in my "religion".

First u thank God for all the blessings he has gave you, then u ask God to heal someone by the blood of Jesus, and most all cases your prayer will be answered if it is God's will.
