During the holidays I love to help the people in need. I give toys and clothing for charity.

I donate to food drives, either through the Boy Scouts or Philabundance (a local food bank). I also donate toys to Toys for Tots as often as I can, and did a Secret Santa for seniors and pregnant teens - clothing, bath products, etc.
I'll put a few bucks in whenever I see the Salvation Army people.
I also volunteer throughout the year, working with mentally and physically challenged kids.

I participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree at the place I work out. I liked that the owner of the business decided to do it and I supported both his decision and the Salvation Army by taking 7 tags for children of various ages and buying them gifts. My sister works out there too and she did 9.

We give food, clothes and gifts to our church for them to give to people in the community. My kids learn about charity by helping purchase/gather these items them delivering them. We also give wrapping paper, bows, tags, candy for the holiday party they have for less privileged children in the neighborhood.

I make food boxes all year round for families who need help. At Christmas I try to put in some extras--- especially for the kids... some candies or small toy, etc.
One year we had great problems, and my own kids were the recipients of their school's "Help a Family" at Christmas. It meant so much to me at that time--- so now I just keep giving back in reciprocation. "Pay it forward" and all that...

well if i would give something to the charity i would give them some food, blankets, coats, scarves, gloves and anything else i could think of. because they give it to little children, adults and anyone who needs something for the winter to get warm.

I give canned good like cans of peas, corn, tuna, chicken. ETC ETC. or I give the needy children some toys for christmas so that they have something to play with(:

I am delivering goodies to two local animal shelters~Humane Society & the city dog pound.The goodies include biscuits,,chewies & cat treats.I have also thrown change into buckets while shopping ~for the childrens hospital. ;O)
