This is the third time im tryng to post this question.
Yahoo refuses to post it, I do not know why.
I have been refreshing my e-mail, and nothing. No reason.
Here it is if it passes. If it does not then I wish for Yahoo to just delete my account. Is this question wrong?
Does Greek grammer ever allow nouns to be definite whether or not the Greek definite article (the) is present? Example, John 1:1
Also Heb. 10:31, esi keiras theou zontos (into the hands of the living God). The "New World Translation" puts the two "the"s here, but puts an "A" in John 1:1. please explain

I was thinking of starting a prayer chain for them and thought this might be a good place to start. I know it might be unlikely that they be found alive but it is CHRISTmas and Miracles do happen and I am hoping for one for there families this Christmas. Two families have lost two fathers this Christmas and I hate to see two more families grieve this way. I hope and pray that they be found alive and I am praying that the families find the strength to get through whatever happens. Please those who are religious or those who believe please pray with me. I'm looking for a commonly known Italian word (place, thing, word, etc.) that expresses feelings like the upmost current style, moderness, chicness, class, luxury. Any thoughts?

Sort of like how 'Soho' comes from a london district (if you were thinking of a place). But an item, or phrase would be good too.

This has been intriguing me.I'm not a muppet who believes fictional characters are real, so don't be thinking I'm some sort of delusional. Having said that, Hannibal Lecter is a really attractive character, in my opinion, save all the brain/liver/bean eating.

He's multilingual, articulate, cultured and dangerous. Hello...sexy!

Who are your most attractive fictional characters, either from literature or film? We're not talking hot actors here, rather the character him/herself. I'd be interested to know. I'm expecting a lot of Mr.s Darcy and Rochester, but go on, surprise me.

You don't know how many times I hear of people who grew up going to church but something happened where they became atheist, humanist, etc...

If something happened to you because of a bad religious experience...what was it...

Or the other way...you grew up in a family with no religious beliefs and someone introduced you to a belief system...how did that change you?

Or you grew up and borrowed your parents faith but now that you have grown up you have your own faith that may be stronger..

Go either way here.

from a Jewish veiwpoint. When the temple is rebuit, how will the preist be selected. Are they still suppose to be Levites? or do you beleive that the Messiah will come when that happens? Thank you for explaining it to me.

Why are so many cases of creation "scientists" being exposed as frauds? Do you really think these people should be trusted with any aspect of childrens education when they are caught out in bare faced lies.

I have just started reading a translated version of the Qur'an ( The Nobel Quran) and am curious about some early passages.


Chap. 2
23. "And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'ân) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a Sûrah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allâh, if you are truthful.

24. But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers."


Chap 2.
62. "Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, [] whoever believes in Allâh and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve []."


These lines seem contradictory to me, can anyone provide clarification?
