Translation:

Since I don't have a clue about evolution, I will ask an absurd question to try and make the theory sound as rediculous as possible.

This is tantamount to the scientist who takes an irrational passage from the bible, and then tears it apart with science to make the theist look silly.

End result: nothing. The theist still dislikes evolution, and the scientist still thinks the bible has nothing useful to offer.

Both sides are wrong. There is always something to be gained, even indirectly, from endeavoring to understand an opposing viewpoint.

You have a typo in your question. You must have meant if creationism is true ...

Humans had no evolutionary need to develop wings and had no winged ancestors so evolution would dictate that humans would not have wings.

Creationism, on the other hand, posits a whole bunch of different angelic beings, all of whom have two or more wings. The question should be, if it's good enough for Gabriel, why didn't god give Adam a pair?

Because the cousins of humans which had hummingbird-style wings were predated upon by the pigs with wings and driven to extinction.

Incidentally, because the pigs which fly lost their primary food source, they too fell extinct.

That's funny.

No niche.

Plus it would take a lot of nectar to sustain the metabolism of a human sized hummingbird.

There would be the small problem of needing a breastbone twelve foot wide-it needs a lot of protein to develop that, too much in fact to be viable from an evolutionary viewpoint.

We can. At least those of us with enough faith.

Creationists can't, though.
