Does this mean Believers will be saved and at peace for 1000 years, and then tempted by the deveil after that one last time?

My understanding is that there are 2 resurrections. The Christians that 'endured to the end' will be brought first. Then there is the 2nd resurection where the nonbelievers will be brought up. Remember? Jesus died for the sins of theWORLD.
When they are called up they will have the Holy Spirit poured out on them and they will see Jesus in the flesh,and at that time will be offered salvation. To me that is a no brainer. Our atheist friends will have quite an attitude adjustment.
Then those who have accepted God's salvation will be taught the ways of God by the people of the 1st resurrection...This is the way ,brother,walk in it. Meanwhile, the devil and his demons will be locked away from them. This learning will go on for 1 thousand years. By the way, there is a scripture that says that the people of the 2nd resurrection did not rise for a thousand years. In the original bible writings, that scripture cannot be found.
Toward the end of the thousand years, the devil and his demons will be released and allowed to go out among the people to cause rebellion. I guess this is God's way of testing the people to see who will fall away after a thousand years worth of learning His ways. Then,the devil and his demons along with all of those who followed him will be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed body and soul.

Many people who come back in a resurrection to a paradise earth or those born there never having been tested by the devil.
Would it be fair for them to be granted eternal life in a paradise when the others had to go through so much to get there.
Everyone will be tested either in this life or during the 1000 of peace and then when it is over the whole earth will be persons who are obedient and don't start wars or hate or prejudice.
They don't lie, steal or cheat people. You won't have to lock a door. Or fear anything eternally.

After Jesus returns, those remaining on the Earth that have accepted His free gift of salvation will live on the Earth with Jesus ruling. They will live in a true Utopia, where everything is perfectly balanced and justice and love rule - a perfect government. The loosing of the devil at the end of the 1000 year period is to allow those people a choice - like everyone else.

The thousand years you speak of would be the millenial reign of Christ Jesus. Jehovah gave the Messianic Kingdom to his Son to rule over the earth for one thousand years to break up the works of the devil. Jesus and the 144,000 who serve in heaven will bring the earth and mankind who survive Armageddon and those who are resurrected back to life on earth back to perfection, the earth is to be turned into a literal paradise and those who are lame,deaf,mute, and blind will be healed just as Jesus did this for people when he was on earth, Jesus was demonstrating what he was going to do for righteous mankind when he would rule as king in heaven, peace will be between man and beast and everything will be brought to the conditions that existed in the garden of Eden before Adam and Eve sinned. Then Jesus will hand back the kingdom to his Father, Jehovah, and Satan will be released from the abyss for a final test, those that pass will be given everlasting life, those that fail will go into non-existence in the lake of fire or the second death from which there is no more resurrection.

During that time man will build back up to our spiritual state we were designed to be. During this time the devil will be chained and there will be perfect peace on earth with God. At the end the devil will be loosed and then sent to the bottomless pit when he tries to tempt us, talk about a direct intervention by God. I kinda agree with some of the other answrs;but I think it'a possible that if you noticed in Genesis, God does things in thousand year periods(a "day" to God=1000 years to us).It's possible that since we have practically destroyed our planet with global warming, God might be spending this time to restore what we have messed up.
So if He has anothe generation of people, they dont have to come to the Earth that we messed up, but to the Earth that God intended.

in that time period we will have no temptation from satan. at this time we will become perfect.
when satan is let loose he will tempt us one more time. anyone that fails the test looses. anyone that scores an "A" will live forever on earth and never sin again and will be completly happy.
