I'm seriously stressed. I am in leadership at my local church and my pastor's wife has come to me with some problems. She has a genuine heart for what God wants from her, but she's got issues. Can I really be the person to lay it on the line for her and tell her where her sinful attitudes and actions are? Advice and directions are appreciated.

the jews and the muslims original manuscripts are still intact. A Quran is not considered authentic unless it is printed in Arabic.
The bible? hehe who knows how many re printings and re-tellings there are. there are so many different "versions".

Not to mention The christians were lazy so they made the "new testament' It made the old testament obsolete. Well obsolete when it comes to things that are difficult to live by.
and it is read now only as a kind of nostalgic reflection by down homw "folks" that want to feel pious. ridiculous self rightous people.

For a female coworker, age is between 40-50. I'd like to get something under $25. She got me 2 cofee mugs with 4 flavored hot chocolate packages. I was thinking about doing a gift basket but it seems like you can only buy them online (Which I don't want to do).

My friend said she "felt God" when she was with her father when he died. She also said her father was talking to her guardian angels that were standing next to her right before he passed. Has anyone had a spiritual experience such as this? Please tell me your story.

So do we keep lowering the bar to make minorities look good? Do we keep lowering requirements to get into schools? Do we hire the minority and keep telling that they are equal to whites just so they "feel good about themselves" and then the "problem solvers" bigots and racists?

When asking a question regarding minorities that might lead to an answer that may not be pleasant....or may not shed a positive light on the minority, their habits, lifestyle, etc...many become emotional and unable to offer a logical answer and solution..then call the person asking or answering a bigot or racist. Are these people not able to solve problems?

i don't want the "christians push their faithon us" answer, what im looking for is a profoundly solid reason as to why our nation accepts the fact that satanists and anarchists promote their religion with no resistance but when someone asks another person about "are you a Christian and if not, do you know Jesus" all hell breaks loose and the Christian is streotyped? Just wondering why the world is so bassakwards.

I dated a guy a few times and we really hit it off (he invited me to over for the holidays). He mentioned he's been looking all over for certain characters from a popular Christmas show, so I was able to find them, picked them up, and sent a courier to his office with the package. He's been working a lot and has been really stressed, so I did it to put a smile on his face. I thought he'd be so bowled over that I found them that he'd call right away. It was yesterday and I haven't heard - Hell...when I get flowers I call to thank the sender right away...but, maybe that's just me. I guess I need a guy's point of view here - should I expect a "thank you" or do I just assume he didn't want me to get him a gift and that he's blown me off???

Most of the writings were in bad physical shape to begin with, there was translation, interpretation, and some parts omitted. When all is said and done, are we sure all that is written in today bible can be take literally? Take the verse "I am the truth, the way, and the life, no one comes to the father but through me", If I take the bible literally, it means worship Jesus to get to heaven, but that contradicts Jesus in context, I believe. I think Jesus want us to have a focus on God, the father, and to have a personal relationship with God. What if, Jesus meant, which would be more aligned with the context of his teachings, that no one gets to the father but though the way he lived his life. However, we may not know the truth of what is said, because through-out history, people for political, religous, and scientific reasons have translated, interpreted, and even omitted parts of the bible. Even today, the bible is being interpreted for "better understanding."
