It seems like every year, there is an assault on Christmas, like we can't say Merry Christmas without worrying about offending anyone. Personally I'm getting tired of it and I personally don't care if people get offended by me saying Merry Christmas. My oldest son can't even say Merry Christmas in school anymore because it has the word Christ in it. Anyways, I just wanted to see how others here felt about it.

Ok... first off, I am straight (at least I think I am), but lately there has been this female clerk at the grocery store who is always saying hi and asking how things are going even when I am not in her line. She even remembers my name and things I like and don't like. I like to be judgemental, but she does look like she could be bi or a lesbian and I have to admit that it is flattering to think about.... but is it really hitting on me or is she just a good grocery clerk?

I'm an adventist. That means I go to church on saturdays and I believe Christ will return. I don't believe that we can live on after death without the resurrection of the body and one can't live forever without the body made immortal. I don't believe that we are eternal self existant souls that need not of God to live on.

Darcy, in Texas, was seriously hurt in an accident last night.
She is the mother of 3, 2 daughters and a son.
The doctors say it's bad, but we are holding out much hope for a full recovery.

Are there better sales, deals and all around prices in general or specifically on elecrtonics after the holidays or during them? The reason I'm asking is b/c I want to purchase a home theatre system now, but I dont know if there will be better deals for the beginning of the new year....

This is not a bash on people that are overweight, nor is it a ping on "gluttony". I have been told several times on here, that God doesn't approve of using drugs because they contribute to the destruction of a person's body ("Drugs" includes weak drugs like marijuana, nicotine, and alcohol).

With that reasoning, wouldn't things like saturated fat and not exercising also p|ss God off, because they are the destruction of a person's body (a temple in God's image)? I was recently watching the documentary Jesus Camp (SCARY!!). The woman who ran the camp was very overweight (by any standards), yet she was telling people how they should honor God. I kept thinking, "lose some weight before you destroy your temple with a heartattack!!"

Am I wrong in this reasoning?
