Well I personally don't understand why the other posters had to be so rude. It is a perfectly legitimate question (one I am also struggling with)! I was hoping there would be some suggestions I could use!

For my dad's birthday, I got him a season of his favorite television show (Stargate-SG1). He's been collecting it because they don't get cable TV.

How about tools? If your dad is into that...lol.

This year, I made my dad some chocolate covered cashewes (his favorite) and a video from Big Lots about the Doozers (from Fraggle Rock) because we used to watch it together...

Wish I could have been of some more help! It's hard to give ideas without knowing what your dad likes! Good luck! Merry Christmas!! :)

If your Dad has a favorite sports team, you could get him tickets to a game or a t-shirt with their logo on it.
Perhaps your Dad likes fishing, maybe some new lures, or a subscription to a magazine would be cool.
Merry Christmas!

hard to answer without knowing anything about him or how much money you have to spend. They have some really cool things at the Discovery store. I got my dad an optical illusion book, he likes that kind of stuff. My friend & her siblings got thier dad a cat... so it really depends on what your dad likes.

If you really want suggestions you need to provide more information... what does he like to do? what are his favorite colors, flavors, sports teams, etc.

Can't go wrong with a gift certificate to a fine restaurant. All men, young or old, like to eat out.

Good luck

Merry Christmas.

How about some scratch offs. I live in Texas and my dad loves scratch offs so I am going to by him 35.00 worth of different ones.

I prefer a present that will last. Clothing, a cologne, electric shaver, gloves.
