Ok... first off, I am straight (at least I think I am), but lately there has been this female clerk at the grocery store who is always saying hi and asking how things are going even when I am not in her line. She even remembers my name and things I like and don't like. I like to be judgemental, but she does look like she could be bi or a lesbian and I have to admit that it is flattering to think about.... but is it really hitting on me or is she just a good grocery clerk?

See if she's like that with other customers. If she's like that with everyone, odds are she's just a really good clerk. If she's only like that towards you and not the other regulars there, she may have a thing for you.

Being a cashier I would say that she is just being a really good grocery clerk :-)
Nice to see your open to the compliment of being liked by the same sex. That shows that you are confident in who you are and can see the beauty in all :-)

She's most likely not hitting on you. Most bisexual women & lesbians dont make it a habit to hit on people randomly...though it is very possible. Just take it as friendliness and move on. Be her friend and eventually you'll know for yourself.

If you are not interested in those, then just stop thinking too much about it. Think of it as she is a real friendly person.
Just think of her trying to hit on you will make yourself uncomfortable and act weird. You don't want to do that right ?!
So, just stop thinking too much into it and be yourself.

I make it a point at work to remember names and go out of my way to please people, and that does not mean I am hitting on them. Don't sterotype, she may look a little "butch' but she may be the best partner a man could have. We are way to hung up on looks.

I don't think she's hitting on you. She probably just wants to be your friend. But if she asks you to dinner or something, slap her in the face and never talk to her again. That is just sick.
