Which one do you find to be the most accuretly translated of or by God to rest your salvation on.

Well, the most accurate one would be the original Hebrew and Greek, but since I can't read in those languages...I'll stick with the King James version, since it seems to be the most accurate English version.
But again, I don't rest my salvation on a book. The foundation of the LDS religion is not a 2,000 year old book. It is in the living Christ.

If you wanted to be authoritative, we have to travel back in time to get the original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic manuscripts.
As for modern translations, I like the English Standard Version, which combines the readability of the NIV and the accuracy of the NASB.
BUT, as far as my salvation goes, ALL the translations are good. You will find that on all major points, the KJV, RSV, NASB, NLT, CEV, HCSB, etc., they all agree, especially that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
There's a book called the "King James Only Controversy" that you might want to check out. Beware and be discerning of commentaries by anyone, especially our friend Joseph Smith!

I hope the LDS could take any version (in their current language) of the Bible and show the deviations from God's word to you presently. I mentally had 7 of them although the other day I could only remember 6). I am not a LDS, although someone said I sound like one recently.

Taking in everything and IF I HAD to choose...no ifs, ands, or buts, I would choose the Book of Mormon.
I feel it contains the fulness of the gospel and that the bible is sometimes unclear (because of so many translations) on many subjects pertaining to salvation.

We understand translations are of man, and therefore everyone should seek knowledge and truth individually. God does answer prayers, so ask.

It does not matter, as long as it is not a mormon bible or a Jehovah witness bible.
