No cause if there is no afterlife I wouldn't be a christian. Other than the fact I would be in complete despair, I would definetly do as much as I could to get a rush out of life.

I, personally, hope that there is an afterlife, and my faith has taught me that there is. I have no proof though, so my answer is very hypothetical.
If there is not, than I don't think I'm satisfied with my life up until this point. I have done things that I'm not proud of, hurt people close to me and disappointed myself continuously. Thankfully, I've also loved many people, done some incredible things, and helped others.
I have a lot of living left to do, but even if I made a checklist of important goals to reach, I'm sure that I would always feel that I could have accomplished more. I guess that's part of the mystery...

As a Christian, I believe there is an afterlife. And no, I would not be totally satisfied with my life. I have often failed to be the kind of person I believe God wants me to be.
Let's face it, We could all do better.
But, I think what you are asking is, would I be happy to have lived as a Christian, and maybe missed out on things I could have done, if I weren't one?
I will have lived a happy life, filled with people I enjoy. I have had many great experiences, and enjoyed the love of a wonderful woman for 25 years now. I am content with what I have.
Many people who are atheists are angry people, who spend their days arguing and complaining. Their attitudes drive others away.
Will they feel, at the end of life, that they enjoyed it, or that they've missed something?

As the great prophet Bob Marley asked "Are you satisfied with the life you're living?" Don't wait until the afterlife to find out.
Sho-Nuff you just might be Bob Marley incarnate!

I've made good spiritual progress and dealt with a lot of my negative karma so I would be satisfied in most respects with the life I've lived, but some things I could have done better.

I don't quite get the question. If there is no afterlife, my life is meaningless. What does it matter whether I'm satisfied after I'm dead?

Yes, by following Bible principles such as: living the golden rule, avoiding fornication thus avoiding STD, not much worry about money, etc. I am satisfied w/ my life.
Many people despise the Bible as old, or a book of fantasy. Even if they were true that book is certainly helpful for those who sincerely want to live their lives according to its precepts. IMHO, those who live by Biblical laws are more peaceful and at less stressed than those who do not believe in it.

Yes I'd be satisfied. I'm currently trying to reduce the number of things that take me away from enjoying what little time I have on this planet. If anything starts to make my life suck, I disassociate with it as best I can.

Whether there is an afer life or not and whether you are satisfied or not , you shall have your life the way you want . No one will have an afer -life to his knowledge .this life is true and only one . it shall not be wasted in what is wrong and sad . Every one has the right to live it the way he / she wans as long as he / she does not interfere with others .I am and shall be satisfied with what I have had and will have with my effort . I am happy telling others what I know and what I think .I shall be forgetting all this when I go; but what I said shall stand in the minds of those who heard me .I shall not be there to see it .

There is no afterlife, and yes, so far I am satisfied. But I'm not finished yet.
