There was this letter in the London paper (about people not giving their seats to pregnant women) that said: "If you dont want to stand, dont get pregnant, I have to stand when I am hangover" what do you think? (I am not pregnant it just shocked me a bit)

My frnd said to me one day, "You think we killed your Saviour, don't you?" How do we explain that, yes, we believe it was Jewish ppl who led to the crucifiction of Christ, but if he hadnt died we wouldn't be saved? So we don't blame the Jews. Jesus was a Jew.

I am a budding writer. I started writing about a story idea that seemed very promising then got totally and completely stuck. My story is a satire about a near future academy which –thanks to a revolutionary surveillance technology-is capable of studying sentient civilizations on distant planets. I created 3 interesting characters(religious female scholar, haughty male scientist, creative male pacifist with whole the religious scholar is in love) and I described the academy, the technology, a few interesting lessons gained from studying other civs, and then I'm out of fuel, unable to invent the struggle necessary to keep all stories interesting. Do you have any suggestions to keep my story going on?Some spice, some struggle or problem that needs to be resolved and gets the reader involved?

I need gift ideas for a friend please! She's 28 years old, and we've been friends for about 2 years. The gift is really for her and her husband. I want to get something original because that's what she always does. For instance, when my baby was born, she bought a baby quilt and had his name and date of birth embroidered on it. Unfortunately I'm not very creative. Also, I can't spend more than $50.
Thanks!

I'm indebted to an answerer on another question for inspiring this question. She described Armageddon as being Biblically defined as "the war of God against unrighteous humans".

Now, the theory runs that God created the universe, therefore what he says goes. But if I have a kid, and he turns into a teenager and says he hates me and wishes he'd never been born and steals from me and spits at me, yada yada yada, does that give me the right to kill the kid? I'd submit that it doesn't. So why should God have the right to wage a war on "lesser" beings like us? Can we not establish some sort of Deities Council to establish what He can and cannot do to us without having His weapons of mass destruction taken away? We all know what the rights of man are. But what are the rights of God?

Now can the number 666 be translated into Aramaic by using hebrew alphabtes ?
yes, of course....

Let's investigate.

Numeric Values of the
Hebrew Alef-bet

'alef =1 waw =6 kaf =20 `ayin =70 shin =300
bet =2 zayin =7 lamed =30 pe =80 taw =400
gimel =3 het =8 mem =40 sadey=90
dalet =4 tet= 9 nun =50 qof =100
he =5 yod =10 samek =60 resh =200

And not only this, but letter-numbers are added in descending order by larger to smaller amount. So it is not always easy to construct a number to where the symbolism shows easily. Usually a name is started with first (that is characters) and then interpreted thru numbers. In other words, www, or 6+6+6 does not add to six-hundred-sixty-six. It adds up to 18. In Hebrew, 18 is the exact same as hay, meaning "life."

On the other hand, what letter-numbers are required to equal 666 exactly, and in the proper configuration? Consult the chart above finding the largest number needed first, then the second largest, and so on, in descending order.

You will find that the letters in order are: Taw-Resh-Samek-Waw. In English characters we would represent them as Trsw. But Hebrew is represented by consonants only. Vowels came much later, except for the yod and waw. Waw could act as a long 'o' or 'u'. Trsw---is that a Hebrew word? No, it is a Hebrew spelling or a word-play on the name of a Greek city in Asia Minor. It was this city that the beast-666 came from, the city of Tarsus, the city where Paul, the teacher of lawlessness and apostate founder of gentile Christianity came from. Paul of Tarsus is the beast-666 of the Revelation

If God is the loving & just being that they believe in, do they really think that He would find it fair to punnish the unrepentant over an eternity, for the sins committed in a relatively short period of time? I don't think an eternity for a lifespan is quite the same as an eye for an eye...

God has been playing favorites for a long time now, in fact I was told by God just the other day that I'm one of them (Thanks God, I love You too! )!!!! Why does this bother People, is it because I'm undeserving and behave so terribly? Hey, I've got God personally watchiing my back; why shoudn't I take advantage of this divine intervention in my life?
