I am Spanish, also.
Two years ago I was an erasmus in Sweden, but the classes were in English. Besides, I had a Catalan boyfriend and my father is Galician.
When I was drunk, in general, I found it easier to speak in English, as I was not ashamed anymore of my accent or possible mistakes.
But my boyfriend started to talk in Catalan and then, as it soundede so similar to Galician, I replied him in Galician, mixed with English and Spanish all at the same time.
Moreover, among Swedish people, I mixed a little bit of Swedish that I was learning...
And, afterwards, I started to meet German people and go everywhere with then, so, when I was drunk, I used to mixed Swedish and German and English alltogether!
I have been learning French lately, but I have not tried to mix it with alcohol, since after the erasmus I have not really drunk anymore.
Apart from that, you know the story of the apostoles talking in so many languages ate the same time inspired by the Holy Spirit, don't you? Maybe we can equate alcoholoc inspiration with mystical inspiration, as people like Santa Teresa did took drugs before having mystical moments?

I wish I could speak in another language when I'm drunk. Lucky you.

I'm English and when I lived in Spain my Spanish friends said it was easier for them to speak English than speak Spanish (their mother tongue) when they were drunk.
I always found this very funny!!!

Most drunks sound stupid in any language. If you're drinking to the point that you don't remember things - Stop it!

Not to me, but it does happen to one of my sons, who switches to French, a language he normally dislikes speaking. I can't complain about the things he says, though: he is quite polite.
