Sometimes .
Occasionally and then at times knows but says absolutely nothing waiting for you to come to him when you wish to discuss the matter. It all depends on the mood that he is in because sometimes Santa can be in a very open understanding mood other times he just says no way It is not acceptable.
trying to be good is a much better manner in which to behave
Only you know if its bad or good and good is so much better.
Santa is very generous when it comes to understanding mistakes over something that was done intentionally

Yes he does because he has little elves like me to spy on you. He knows right now that you said a bad word. That's why yahoo wouldn't let you say it. You must do something to make up for it. Be nice to an old lady who needs help crossing the street. Help people. Just maybe if you do something good, he may just come to your house on Christmas eve. Have a good day.
