I Recently Started Learning Russian. I Can Read And Write The Cryllic Alphabet, And Translate The Letters To The English Alphabet. I Know Basic Words And Sentences, And Can Carry a Short Conversation. I'm Looking For A Good Site For Learning More. Any Suggestions?

Does anyone else think that the gospel singer Donald Lawrence acts gay? I LOVE his music so I saw him in concert this last fall but I was blown away by how effeminate he was acting. He was so animated about it that he looked like someone on Saturday Night Live impersonating a gay person.

I know someone who’s very close to him and he adamantly insists that he is straight but my “gaydar” literally explodes when I watch him. Not that it matters ultimately. No matter what, I still love his music.

Does anyone else get this impression as well?

This is a mathematical inconsistency since there are 2 negatives involved.
1. does not exist (-ve 1)
2. proof of non-existence (-ve 2)

when you prove the non-existence of something that
does not exist, it makes a positive.

i get someone who has moderate knowledge of apologetics say something like "but "man's" good isn't worth any thing because when a man does good, it is in his own benefit any ways."

to elaborate the point here, the reasoning goes that any logical atheist who does "good" will recieve happiness because he knows he is moral and that the he will recieve the favor of those around him.

but isn't that hypocritical? when a christian does "good", isn't it in the same situation. when a christian does good, he knows that he is in favor of god. that itself brings him happiness without any regard to the eternal reward he is to receive in the afterlife.

please, i bring this question with no animosity. Im not specifically trying to call anyone dumb or wrong, here
its just that i think i am right and i want to make sure that im not considering anything

I was hired before the Holiday rush. The person who hired me said nothing about it being solely a seasonal job. But, considering it was just around the time they were hiring for season- who knows? My question is, how should I go about seeing if that was their purpose in hiring me. And if so, talk to them about making me a permanent employee. I really enjoy this job and don't want to leave if that is, indeed, their intent. I mean, what do I say to them to make them say, okay maybe we should keep her around...Thanks for any advice.

Why did they have to turn most of South Florida into a complete and utter pigsty over the last few years, making it essentially impossible to live there if you are not Cuban! Why did they feel the irrepressible need & desire to turn this once beautiful and sought-after tropical city and its surroundings into the Third World? I mean, nobody wants them there and they`re not contributing positively towards a better America so why won`t the U.S. Government just kick them out and back to Cuba?!? I also heard that if Cubans go back to Cuba, they run the risk of being executed, is that true? And don`t you find it ironic that Americans are not welcome or allowed into Cuba, even for a vacation?

I am not exaggerating either! Have you actually visited Miami in the recent years? Have you driven through Little Havana lately? And by the way, if you must drive through that filthy & dangerous neighborhood, do not stop your car under ANY circumstances and keep your car windows and doors firmly locked!

This is not meant to be racist, but i've just been wondering. Like some African Americans have surnames that come from names like white poeple, like Johnson, Smith, Jones, Williams, while I've seen alot that say there black but have hispanic last names like Garcia and Gonzalez. Whys that?

I have this co-worker who is constantly admiring my coach purse. She tells me everyday she would like one. On Friday, she came in (all smiles) and when I asked her why she was so happy she showed me her new coach bag, which, just so happened to be exactly like mine. I can understand the fact that she wanted a coach bag, but why didn't she get a different one? I told her that it was cool that she got her bag but I can't help but feel like I should keep my distance with her now. What do you think?

I am interested in how to become a "werewolf" by any persons terms. But actually what I want is to completeley shift into a wolf. I am a Wolf Therian so I don't need to hear about the therian route. I want to Physically Shift into a wolf or Werewolf. Permanent or otherwise I don't care. I don't want people saying stuff like its a mental disease, or it doesn't exist. If you do not believe in it that is your choice. But I am not christian and I don't care what you think about magick or whatever. I just want to know of ways to do it. I have seen many ways on the internet, however I am not able to try some of them due to acess to ingredients. But I would also like to confirm if other people show the same results I have found. That way I might see how true some of those out there may be. I would prefer not haveing to sacrifise something in order to do, so if that is a possible way that is great. But I still want to hear ways that may or may not require a sacrifise. ThankYou for good answers

Why is it this is the only time of the year we ALLOw a total stranger to throw candy at our heads (parades), rings bells to the point of migraines or insanity, and when they run over our heels to get to that "blue light special", we smile and BITE our tongue in half???
Oh yes, it is the holidays!!!! I swear ,...this is worse than FULL-MOONs and the ER!!
People seem to forget about huamn kindness for others. What ever happened to do un to others..............????
Just curious,....something to think about this season as we shuffle through the isles AMLESSLY attempting to find that PERFECT gift!!
