Since I have been a Christian, I have experienced some moments of intense joy , but so much more hypocrisy and dissapointment. My inner conflict between my natural and 'spiritual' natures is depressing, guilt laden and painfull, with no hope of it getting any better. I am in despair, and feel it would be better to just drop the relationship with God thing entirely...I am sick of getting it so wrong and feeling bad all the time, as well as being told that it is wrong to feel bad about it. Advice please?

So I have to qualify that a bit - have you ever been in a fistfight when you were OVER the age of 15 and NOT with a family member. My friend says that he thinks most guys HAVEN'T. I'm not so sure..

There are things you CAN ignore, and others that you CAN'T ignore. What if the things that you CAN'T ignore are at its best if you IGNORE them. How can you empower yourself to have enough power, forgiving strength and the type of patience to IGNORE the UN-IGNORABLE things around you.

Or less so?

I think, knowing you can get that far, not being stuck to a house or to anyone in particular... That is liberating.

But, at the other end of the spectrum, with money comes freedom.

This is when the instinct kicks in. It may not at all be intentional, but women prefer men who can protect them. It's part of our survival instinct we've picked up over the past million years or so, lol. Woman gentle and caring, man strong and fit. Of course we do tend to sway off that path and fall for the shorter, or thinner, or scrawny types, as personality certainly plays a huge factor in the opinions of many women (like us; my husband's 2" shorter, lol, although I am 6').

AND I RESPOND:

AND I ASK WHAT DO WOMAEN NEED TO BE PROTECTED FROM? IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD AND ARE ALL LOVING WHAT DO WOMAN NEED TO BE PROTECTED FROM? PERHAPS THEIR OWN SELFISHNESS?

In Galatians 5:22-23...

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Does that not mean that the Spirit is a supporter of these things? And that as long as something is done in 'love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance', there is no law against that?

So if a couple is in love with each other, permartial sex should not have a law against it?

It is highly probable that God wanted no sex before marriage back then as people did not date, and would therefore not have had experienced love until they are together by marriage. So this law was made such that it may actually mean 'no sex without love'?
