Faith, by it's very definition is belief in something for which there is no evidence. Why then, would someone take pride in, or hold up faith as being a sound reason for which to hold a belief?

Mine would be breaking away from abusive friends whom I've known for over 15 years. It sounds like no big dea;, but throughout my life, I've struggled dealing with bullies, abusive friends and bad neighbors... and now, having broken away from these people, I feel a sense of peace within me. God punished him to lie on his belly for all eternity? Does this not make sense to anyone else? What kind of punishment is that? Or do you just take it as a fairy tale and not truth? I mean God Punishes the devil later on in the bible but whats the point of including a verse explaining why God Had the serpent slithering on its stomach when it wasn't the serpent it was the devil? If you believe it as truth then what did the serpent do before his punishment?

i already faced the fact my family wont be having gifts this year. it was a rough year for us and i tried toys for tots n salvation army but i was too late in signing up i didnt know my hubby would be laid off! but anyway what im asking i still want to celebrate , any ideas my kids r ages 18 girl 17 boy 16 girl 14 girl 12 boy and my baby grandson whom is 4 months old, is there anything we can do to make the holidays alittle brighter with no gifts! thank u and serious answers only!! merry christmas n god bless

Any teens out there?
If you are a teen, cool! If you wanna protect the nature- cooler. If you be lyk, into community service, it can't get any closer to arctic (cool!!)... Okay, i want to know if any teens out there are interested in a kind of teen awareness rally about global warming, poverty, diseases like leprosy, cancer and HIV. My parents just came back recently from an oversea business trip. So I thought that it would be nice to spend our quality family dinner over at Todai Westminster, California. Just right when we entered the restaurant, there was a young gentleman greeted us:”Irassaimase! Table for 3?” I answered yes, and the gestured to us to wait at the other corner and someone would be right with us. So, we went ahead and sat down at the chairs that been laid out at that corner. Our waiting time was around 10 minutes. During that time, the 2 team leaders, Maggie Lee and Kyle, walked in and out, passed us at least 4 times total. However, none of them acknowledged our presence. Even though I was starring at them both, there was no eye contact in return. Was that how team leaders, managers on duty should act? And certainly, the Restaurant did not provide an extra mile services. I know there would be time that the Restaurant is swamped with customer, that was why we sat down and waited patiently. Is it not the managers’ job to make sure that everything was under controlled, and going smoothly? It only takes 10 seconds up most just to say: “Hi! How are you?” or “Have you been helped?” or “I am so sorry for your waiting, but I will be right you”
It turned out that the young gentleman that greeted us “warmly” at the beginning also did not inform his managers about our party. And as I mentioned, each manager have made contact to him at least twice every time he/she walked out to the desk. How irresponsible!
A Caucasian couple showed up, and got served right away. They were about to be seated by Kyle when I stopped them and said that I was there first. That man finalized our already awful night by a racist comment, and ruined it all. He went: “This is America; you have to stand up to wait to be seated”
I walked out of the Restaurant, and called the Restaurant back. Kyle told me that it was my fault leaving the Restaurant, and he was too busy to notice us.
How would this be justified?

I am so sick of you crazy zealots saying it's not true when the evidence points to the fact it IS! Here in England, the climate has been SIGNIFICANTLY changing:

Anyone who doesn't notice that this autumn and winter (and last autumn and winter) became cold much later is clearly just distracted by other things or something - because it si OBVIOUS.

And I HATE those of you who say we've been wrong before so we're probably wrong this time - isn't that also a reason for NEVER DOING ANYTHING???? Or NEVER disproving scientific theories (because we've already been wrong so we probably are again...)
PLUS - 'it may be natural variation, which has happened a lot before' - yes, the earth can vary itself and survive but NOT NECESSARILY with humans surviving... Why the hell would the earth care about us surviving? If there was another ice age, I expect we'd all be pretty fucked. Or at least a lot of us.

i love to hear it ! About me, iam 17yrs and nudity since i was born! I never wear cloth in all season. I use nude in sleep, play ,bath ,eat foods,study..etc, even walk in public, i allow people to see me nude !! My parent do same thing as me ! They teachs me about nude!! i love to answer the door and see faces (like shock and open mouth widely ) so funny!! It is funny, what you have to said! please tell me
