Why do people hate body hair so much?

It depends on the people and where they are from ffor Instance I am Italian and we accept our people as they are but a lot of Americans dont Its your culture and the place you are,In Maine to men are hairy.

I assume it is because body hair is a common feature of animals. Smooth, hair-less skin is considered to be the most delicate and feminine like skin

yes it was meant to be there for a reason i understand that but i prefer the smooth clean hairless look all over my body....although everybody is different and there are still some who prefer to go natural and leave all body hair where it belongs

The reason I do is because I prefer the smooth feel of hairless legs. On men you don't mind alittle roughness of hair, it's expected, but on a woman you want everything to be soft, smooth, sensual...

I don't have a problem with a little body hair but I don't want someone looking like a wildebeest.

PERSONALLY, i don't like body hair.because you know if you see a man on the beach with body hair it just looks nasty.i don't like it cause sometimes when i hug a man with chest hair it scratches me alot. so i hope i answered your question.
