You can start over again at 70.. Life is precious no matter what age you are. Where there is hope there is a future with all kinds of possibilities and dreams. You can move, play the piano and the flute if you desire. You can make friends anywhere even sitting at the bus stop. It's up to you to make the choice to speak up and talk. Say hi to someone and concentrate on making them feel important.. In turn you will do yourself a favor and feel better. 42 is young to go back to school. People do it everyday and start new careers. Even at age 55...If you need help in breaking an old bad habit that is hurting you then seek help in that area..There are many many chapters yet to fill up in your book of life. So don't sit back waiting for your life to pass by. Do something about it now.

It takes 9 - 12 days to break a habit and 21 days to obtain another habit. 16% of those attending university today are over 40. Living in a different country at this stage in your life would be very difficult as I have a house in Canada and France and just being there for a few weeks/months at a time can be difficult ... it would take me a good 2/3 years to get used to it (im 39). Making friends over 40 is like fishing in a new pond, once in a while you'll catch something and maybe it's not what you wanted, but hey, you caught fish didn't you? As far as the piano thing.....how many people UNDER 40 are the ones playing in a bar.....not many. You can overcome anything because you're a human being and we are the most adaptable creatures on the planet......the only thing stopping you is not focusing and allowing others to make you believe only youth can change with the tides....bologne. Go to school, do what you want and play the hell out of the piano boy!! good luck and be well, Jack

You are never too old to break old habits, and not too old to start over.
Well, ask the university people how old you must be to join. It may be too old, but if they say yes, then go ahead and join!
You can live wherever you want. It can never be too late to live somewhere else. No one can tell you what to do. Do what you want.!
Its never too late to make new friends. Infact, its a wonderful thing to make new friends and you can do that easily by joining a club or a sport.
Again, you must check with the bar people to see ifyou can play piano, and they must also see if you can really play.

In conclusion, you are entitled to do whatever you desire. Everything is in your hands: your future especially. Good Luck and chase after your dreams. Always. :))

It depends how much extra skin you have. If it is a lot, surgery is the only sure way of removing it. If it is only a little and is mainly you just want to regain your skin elasticity, I would recommend a combination of good skin care treatments combined with building up your chest muscles. I'd recommend using Retin A Cream with pure jojoba over the top on a daily basis. Before you apply the topicals, you need to exfoliate the breast skin in the shower with an exfoliating body wash or exfoliating gloves. I'd also recommend taking pure Vitamin C & E capsules. You can purchase Retin A Cream on line or have a your doctor surgeon write you a prescription. Make sure it is the cream version. Good luck : )

My life started at 42.
I divorced an alcoholic that I had been trying to "fix" for 23 years. It was the absolute most liberating experience in my lifetime.

I make more money than I ever have in my life.
I can come and go as I please.
I never have to balance the checkbook--because I am in the only one in it.
I can cook if I feel like it, and not cook if I don't want to.
I can go to my cabin (which I bought and paid for after my divorce) whenever the mood strikes me.
I have to take care of no one but myself.
I have tons more friends and a social life than I did before.
I have been on several HUGE vacations to places I would have never dreamed of going to.

Life is good.
(and I am not new at this, it has been 9 years since the divorce)

It is never too late to try to improve your life and take advantage of your talents. In fact, we should be getting better every day. I encourage you to make whatever good changes you think you need to.

(Frankly, I wouldn't recommend that you play piano in a bar, though. That doesn't really get you much except a lungful of secondhand smoke.)

it is not to late, as a matter of fact, the 40's are a great time to concentrate on those type things,, adding things into your life, getting rid of bad habits,,,,,, i personally would say that i grew alot during my 40's, i did go back to college, changed careers, made new friends, broke some bad habits and overcame feelings by dealing with some unresolved issues, , not a different country but moved to a different state,,,,,, and now at 52 am still changing and growing,,,,,,, you can do anything you wish to do, and hopefully at this point in life you have the maturity to realize you take small steps to reach a final goal,,, then you move on to a new goal,,,,,, the only real focus i kept the same, during my 40's, was my daughter, as she went threw her teens,,,,,,

It is too late if you think it's too late.
It's not too late if you think it's not too late.
I'm 42. I'm a comic entertainer in Hollywood. I run 5 miles a day. Girls look at me all the time. I don't think it's too late for me- so its not too late for me.
