I'm serious. My first language is Spanish (I was born and live in Mexico). I'm practically the only one who speaks English in my family, so there's no use in asking them.

I came across this phrase on the internet and looked everywhere and only found information about a kid's toy, which existence I knew nothing about until today.

So, risking mockery, could someone tell me the literal and figurative meaning of that phrase?

its a long question guys

to start off, ill first tell you i dont know what my sexual orientation is. im in 8th grade and maybe im going through a phase or maybe i should just wait. but for now..

whenever theres a girl that interests me at school, & whenever we talk its really...akward..? it like she "knows" im bi or something..it just makes me uncomfortable,she probably feels umcomfortable too. or is it just me?

i have 1 person in mind right now, its like everytime im in the same class as her, we always catch eyes at the same time and its so annoying >:/


uugh how can i show her that im "not" into her or have a normal talk for once?

as 2 Chronicles 15:2 says,"if you are with God, he is with you, and if you seek him you will find him"

With that said we as true servants of God know that God is with us, and this has given hope to men for all of time.

Brother I know we live in a time of tolerance when you are never to offened anyone, but once again were we created to live for the will of men??? NO!!!!!!!!!!

We are here for God!!!!!!!

and when you have a religion like Islam that says that they believe in Christ, yet

They dont believe he rose from the dead

because they dont believe he died on the cross

and to top it off they dont believe the was the son of God!!!!


Christ was the son of god , he said so him self

so if you dont agree with that then you are sying that Christ is a liar, and why would you have a liar for a prophet

also his purpose was to die!!!!!! that is why he was sent to this earth, so if you take that away, then why was he here????????

My brother and his wife recently moved out of there flat and my mum said they could stay with us for a few months until they find somewhere. My sister in law asked my mum if her parents could stay with us over Christmas and she said yes aslong as they asked me and my sister and we said yes. Now I don't mind her parents coming for Christmas because we have quite a big house and my other sister has gone to work in France for a year and can't make it back for Christmas so we have alot of free rooms. But my sister in law her family and my brother are really Christian and always pray before we eat. My sister and my mum are also quite religious but don't usually pray. They will now expect me to pray before we eat or atleast not eat while they're praying but I don't want to. I have no objection to them praying but I don't believe in it so don't see why I should pray or not eat while they're praying and let my dinner go cold. So what should I do to avoid any arguments?

yeah, i live in a predomonitnely white town. most of my friends are white and the black friends i do have(my best friend is black) are also mostly friends with white people. people are ALWAYS telling my that i act white. it hurts more than anybody might think it does. i don't understand why. most of my friends are white yeah, but my 2 BEST friends are black. is it because i speak proper english. because i don't wear enyce and baby phat? because i don't listen to a lot of rap music? is that it?
because i believe that to be completely unfair. i know more about the history of my people then my accusers would dream to know. i chose to wear my hair in a natural style instead of getting it pressed like a white girl's. i want to escape the negative stereotyping instead of succumb to it. i'm just the way i am and why do people have such a problem with that?

I know that as a Jewish male, he should have been circumcised. But is it mentioned in the Bible? He was born in a manger, and his parents went straight from Bethlehem to Egypt; I don't think Joseph, a carpenter, had the necessary training to do the operation himself. Did they find a rabbi in Egypt to do it? Only, that's quite a distance, isn't there some timeframe in which you're supposed to get the procedure done?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
