you know, a little tinket or something and a card expressing your thankfulness is a bountiful gift.
I'm a teacher--just knowing that my studnets like me enough to get me a gift, is a huge blessing!

Every teacher could use a calendar. It's pretty universal. Each persons tastes varies though, but if you have been in the classroom with them you can get a feel for their likes. For example, my son has a teacher that has Green Bay Packers stuff EVERYWHERE.

Give them something they can use. I use to work at a school, and a lot of teachers just through things away after a while.

Strike up a conversation with your teacher and tell them what you like to prompt them into telling you their likes.....
