as 2 Chronicles 15:2 says,"if you are with God, he is with you, and if you seek him you will find him"

With that said we as true servants of God know that God is with us, and this has given hope to men for all of time.

Brother I know we live in a time of tolerance when you are never to offened anyone, but once again were we created to live for the will of men??? NO!!!!!!!!!!

We are here for God!!!!!!!

and when you have a religion like Islam that says that they believe in Christ, yet

They dont believe he rose from the dead

because they dont believe he died on the cross

and to top it off they dont believe the was the son of God!!!!

Christ was the son of god , he said so him self

so if you dont agree with that then you are sying that Christ is a liar, and why would you have a liar for a prophet

also his purpose was to die!!!!!! that is why he was sent to this earth, so if you take that away, then why was he here????????

Islam has many flaws

Both. That's my short answer...Being a latecomer to this question, I doubt I can add to the scriptures which have already been posted. Yes, the Gospel is simple, but God isn't. The concept of the trinity is beyond human understanding. The omnipotentency and omnipresence of God is beyond our imagination. The SIZE of God being larger than the universe is beyond our comprehension. The WILL of God that none should perish (2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.) is beyond MY reasoning when you realize that Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and other renowned mass murderers are included. (They made their choices.) I DO understand predestination, and I understand free will, and I believe every word in God's Holy Word...How the two can both be true IS scripture as pointed out by other answerers...I don't HAVE to understand everything in order to ACCEPT the free gift of God's salvation. I think from some of your answers I may have a new contact or two. I like evangelistPaul's answer.

Please, show me the verse in the Bible, where Jesus said "I am God".
I'm not talking about when Peter said "My lord and my god", or the verse where Jesus says 'I and the father are one". I want the verse where JESUS says "I AM GOD". A verse that is unambiguously free from interpretation.

Then, I would like to see the verse that says Jesus is the Son of God, and that people aren't children of the most high. You know, the one where Jesus says "I'm the son of God, and you aren't."

Then, I would like to know why you address your "brothers", but leave your sisters sitting outside in the cold.

Then, I would like you to address the many holes in Christianity that so many tend to ignore while pointing out the same sorts of flaws in other religions. Christ was the son of God, but we ALL are sons and daughters of God. If Christians believe that God dwells within them, and are acting in accord with God's will, what's wrong with saying "I and my father are one". If Christians are truly "ambassadors", one ought to be able to say "He who has seen me has seen the Father." You are supposed to be his face on Earth, are you not? Don't you say that you should see the face of Christ in each other?

As Christ once said, take the log out of your own eye before you start pulling splinters in another's eye. Maybe you'll see clearer.

My Christian Brothers and Sisters: the Question is: are we with Him?

"We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did."

Wow yeah... I'm a christian and I am finding this pretty creepy so I can only imagine how you are comming across to others who are not... spewing long winded bible quotes is not a good way to "spread the word" People just think you are crazy... so do I.

Be very careful my Christian friend...for it is not for us to judge. We need to pray for those we feel are not walking the correct path. All religions believe they are the correct one. Believe and pray with an open heart and Jesus will take care of all of us!

Let's just plant seeds, God will take care of the rest. I believe that we are here to learn to love one another. And like you mentioned, when we seek God, we will find Him. : )

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
