If you have access to a computer and a printer it will be a lot easier to do this. Here are some links to some sites for coloring pages for children. Find out what the child is interested in and print off pictures from the net to make him a coloring book. Make a top page that says it is(for an example) Jason's Coloring Book. Add crayons and coloring pencils, markers, and maybe even water colors and there you have a present he will love!!! Best thing is, it came from the heart. Here are some sites you might want to check out.

Put together some paper in a note book some with out lines for him to draw on....
Make him a home made book if you can draw you can draw pictures in it to go with the words...If not you can cut out magizine pictures to paste in a book you make...Or you can make a book in a binder with a story and put some crayons with the book and let the child draw the pictures to go with the story!
I hope it helps Good luck and
Merry Christmas
