I may say I am a Jew, or I am Jewish. It doesn't matter-------it is the same thing. In fact, maybe saying I am a Jew gives me more of a feeling of who I am-who my faith and people are.

They are both completely acceptable. Jesus was a Jew. Jesus was Jewish. I'm an American, I am America. Why is everyone so afraid to offend? Why are people so easily offended? I thought we were all supposed to be "celebrating diversity"...

Would you say on someone, "She's a Chinese person"? Of course not. She's Chinese, and a Jew is a Jew. That's the correct term.

it is fine to use the word "Jew"...but it is all context. If you are saying something ignorant and bigoted...people will take offense...but alone the term is indifferent.

Of course not, that's the proper term. I don't know why people get so offended by it.
