Catholicism **NEVER** became a non-Christian Church, because Catholicism is the **ORIGINAL** Christian Church!!!!

Catholocism never started off Christian in the first place. In the years 300's AD. in Rome. Church and state combined to start a new religiion now known as Roman Catholocism. The pagan Roman emperor became a "Christian" Roman emperor. Since this christianity was the emperor's new faith. Pagans rushed in to join the emperor's new faith, bringing in their idols of Zeus, Artemis, Jupiter, Diana, etc into the churches. Therefore, it's easy to see why this minority faith that was heavily persecuted became a majority faith of conformity. Also that's why you see figurines in catholic churches. Note that this new church was spread through governmental power, the power of the state vested in the power of the emperor. Under this authorized centralized structure anything else that considered itself Christian was heavily persecuted. So the claim that the RC church is the first Christian church rings holllow. The fact is that the RC chruch is an offshoot off Christianity. So that's all it is, an offshoot off Christianity, not Christianity itself.

I am a Catholic and Christian and we are the first original christian Church. People don't like the Catholics but if they read about the Church they would know that we are Christians too!

God Bless You

It's only non christian by those in other denominations. That's why there are some many different denominations. Everybody's got their own idea of the "truth", and have to try and shoot down any other beliefs. Otherwise where would their congregation and money come from?

You know what is funny? Catholics claim to be the "First" Christians. HA! How? St. Paul was a Jew and he was the founder of Christians. Rome did not adapt Christ until 325 Ce in Nicea under Constatine. I can go on but it's pointless. I'm sure you believe that Christmas was started by Catholics as well. Well guess what? That's Buddha, Horus, Mithra's, Hercules, Bacchus and many others B-day! Merry X-mas! =]]

Well lets see, they worship Mary, they worship the pope, they run everytime a statue bleeds fake blood, they see Jesus on the side of the road at an underpass, they exclude Christians from worship, so I guess you could say Catholicism is different from Christianity.

The day they removed the 2nd commandment ,their tradition nullifies the Word of God ,Christians believe in one mediator ,Catholics pray to whomever ,that is if they been dead for at least a hundred years then they look up their hidstory anfd if they did enough good works they call him a saint and you can pray to him or her then ,In 100 years you will be able to pray to mother teresa
