I was out drinking the other night, and then someone gave me a cigarette (I'm not a regular smoker) and I got very light-headed and couldn't walk straight for 10 minutes. Could it have been laced, or the combination of drinking and smoking?

He gave me the cigarette from an open pack of his and is a friend of mine.

I think not.

Imagine once your child made a mistake you’d have to beat him/her senseless everyday for all eternity. And, you’d get to call that love!

ICK!

What is you opinion?

im from the US and i believe most are, this happened a few weeks ago on here: someone asked the ? what should a guy do for a girl for homecoming? now we think everyone KNOWS what homecoming is..not true one person answered "welcome home balloons" and say "miss you" alot etc. anyway this person got 26 THUMBS down votes. can you believe it ? was this rude or just people not realizing they may not be from somewhere that celebrates "homecoming". and to them it was someone COMING HOME...hhmm... anyone else have anything to add? i was just curious, and thank you for your additions

...for 1000's of years it was taught that God created all things. What happened?

Go lay on the grass (puff-puff), no seriously, go lay on the grass on a clear sky night, look up to the moon and stars and just lay there and stare, and tell me that all that just happened. You must seriously be coo-coos. Only God can make something so beautifull.

I don't mean teaching it in place of science, or even in humanities. I think it should examined as part of a Logic and Rhetoric curriculum, aimed at teaching children to separate fact from fiction.
For example, children could look at the Biblical story of the Virgin Birth. Viewed in the context of, like, reality, one sees that there are far more compelling explanations than to say that a miracle occured. They could also read through the unending series of Thou-Shalt-Nots in Leviticus and Deuteronomy, and ponder what sort of reasons a tribe might have for declaring that wearing clothing made of different fibers was morally reprehensible.

I think such a class could help instill our children with strong analytical skills, so they will recognize nutjobs like Jim Jones or David Koresh and not drink the kool-aid. They would also learn to think critically of "faith", and only accept what is rational instead of whatever hogwash their parents and preachers throw at them.

i can only get hards on from girls and when i masturbate its alwasy to women adn I try to test myself to guys but idk i dont feel a emotion of arousal I get from the girls even thoguh I know the guys are attractive. I finish off to girls and if i stop and breathe and calm down and startup again girls pop up in my head. Today i had an image of a girl giving head to a guy i nthe back of my head whiel I had a main image of another girl in the front of my head. I still dont get my sexuality and how it can change everyday from being straight and feeling releif to not beign sure even though all these other signs dont really stress homosexuality. You think the image of the girl and guy say im gay. I cant do anything when im not sure if im straight and i get depressed. like usually I cant see myself with a guy like having intercourse but then otehr days i just cant tell. ALso, if i calm down and breathe calmly i soon to realize that I wouldnt do stuff with a guy.

John Lennon's "Imagine" said if we get rid of religion, there would be no more fighting, no more war. But I think he took it a step to far.

It's fine to believe in what you want, but why do we try to force others to believe in what we believe? Is it because we think it's our job to save everyone, or is it because we want everyone to act the way we do? With or without religion, as long as we all have different DNA, we will act differently. So accept it and move on. Worry about yourself and your own actions, and your own relationship with God!

I hear some people talking about heaven and I just think to myself, "how boring!!" It's like the word, "nice". "Nice" is boring...no conflict, nothing to work for, nothing to gain, no reason to really do anything...just ...well..."nice". What do you do all day? Think about God? Just think nice thoughts?...Do you just have tea parties everyday with your stuffed animals in the clouds and talk about how pleasant everything is? Will God still ignore you up there like he does down here?

I hate drama for the sake of drama, but I need things to be tough...sort of a "work hard, play hard" lifestyle. Heaven has been described to me recently as a "work hard...err...umm...be a really nice person and make sure you smile!!" sort of place...LAME!!!

I'm not really buying that at this point in my life. I guess I'll see you in hell...I'll be the one with the blue hair in the corner of the club. Come on by, say "Hello"...I'll buy you a drink...

If you have a belief or opinion about Theological Existentialism, Atheistic Existentialism,
Agnostic Existentialism and or are just an Existentialist please comment on your philosophy.
In case you didn’t know an existentialist is a philosophical approach, it is opposed to rationalism and empiricism, that stresses the individual's unique position as a self-determining agent responsible for the authenticity of his or her choices.
