When they decapitated people for crimes or hung them or tortured them in any way, isnt that defeating the purpose of justice?
Two wrongs do not make a right, right? There is a reason for the parties who lost a child by a criminals hand. But it seems it becomes a tool of enjoyment for some in government and those that pull the switch or give the injections, they seem to do this with a vengeance, would you want that job? How can we pay people to do our killing? Why do we think that is moral? Like the East Indian and getting trained elephants to kill for them in ancient times they washed their hands like Pontius Pilot? What is the alternative to stop this insane urge to kill?

Rather than "Merry Christmas?" How about "Seasons Greetings?"

I don't care if anyone wishes me a "Merry Christmas, a Happy Hannukah, a Kwazy Kwanzaa, a Terrific Tet, or a Solemn and Dignified Ramadan" as Krusty the Clown would say.

I need LOTS of gift ideas for my boyfriend, 23. We've been dating almost 4 years now. I'm looking for something in the $50-$100 range. He likes to fish, golf and watch college football (buckeye fan) but he's really hard to buy for. He's got a lot of stuff...can't think of anything that he "wants" so what do you get someone who has "everything?"

in the early years of the united states, we were a god fearing country, which helped us become as great as we became, since we took the bible out of school and trying to take in god we trust off our money, we have sunk in our morals and our culture ways that have made us so liked by many nations in the world!

Okay, so I don't want to offend anyone...but we have a few hispanic people who work in our warehouse. For some reason, they do not flush their toilet paper after they use the restroom. I don't understand why??? I don't feel comfortable asking them, but I thought maybe someone on answers might know.

Hello, I'm from Germany and I want to know if there are any clothing rules/regulations for hindus, because I must give a lecture on hinduism. I searched about it in the www but I didn't found something. Besides I think that answers from hindus are better ;-). Thank you very much!

You do not have to go to church, just contemplate that we all can reach that ultimate state of enlightenment ourselves.
