I really liked that video clip thanx for putting it up and clearing most peoples view on Islam. Also i would like to take this oppertunity to clear some of misconceptions arrised from members in this forum.

firstly If people actually read the Quran and Hadith then they too would realise that the media is wrong.

The Quran came 14 centuries ago it was relevant in the 14 centuries its been here, and it still will be till judgment day. 70% of the Quran is proven by science.

They say Islam is spread by the sword, well there is 14 million Christians in Arabia if Islam is spread by the sword why arnt those 14 million Christians Muslims?

If Islam is unequal towards women then why is 2/3 (about 76%) of converts women?

There is approx 1.6 billion Muslims in the world if all Muslims are terrorists then why isnt 1.6 billion Muslims bombing the world right now?

Even the proper documentaries of the 9/11 shows that there isnt no such thing as 'Islamic extremist', About 2 months after the 9/11 20, 000 Americans converted to Islam.

Quotes from the Quran about killing:

“…Take not life which Allah made sacred otherwise than the course of justice…”

“…Do not kill (or destroy) yourselves for verily Allah has been to you most merciful…”

“… The concept of a life not worthy of living does not exist in Islam”

The difference between me and those who appose me is that my answer is the truth and theirs is a lie. Find me one chapter in the Quran or Hadith (that is authentic) that Muslims should be violent, terrorists, rapist etc. Then i will debate with my OWN imam in the Mosque that Islam is bad and doesnt mean peace. A big misconception is Jihad, and Jihad doesnt mean holy war but to strive or struggle. Therefore even a non-Muslim can do Jihad. In Islam a Mujahid (a person who does Jihad) is trying to strenthin theirself against evil doings.

If any one wants to debate anything about Islam please feel free to come to www.yanabi.com register (its free) and fire away.. unless your ignorant that is

Dont judge Islam by the Muslims but the Holy text

peace

does your question presuppose that the Islamic religion is the same thing as Middle Eastern culture? If so, then the application of Islam in the Middle Eastern culture is clearly far different than it's application in our Western culture. As such, I don't see it as likely that she will travel to Saudi Arabia to live there under religious law, but conforming to a secular cultures' (like America's) diversity of heritages is a simple matter. distinguishing between the ways in which Christian culture has been applied over the centuries can be a window into the application of Islam today. The Inquisitions and the Crusades of the Christian Church are over, but remain as stark examples of how differently modern Christianity is practiced by modern adherants in contrast. Those societies and the people therein who practice Islam as a relgion of peace, rather than using it to justify oppression and murder live in different worlds.

You don't think she has a death wish do you?

Sunni and shia have been killing each other since the "fitna" following the prophets death.

The vast majority of deaths in Iraq are from Sunni-Shia death squads on each other. It is so bad that it is now predicted that this sectarian strife will spread. Neighbouring countries face instability as the two Muslim sects vie to protect their spheres of influence.

The problem within Islam is so bad that it could spread quickly throughout the Islamic world.

All it takes for evil to be victorious is for a few good men to do nothing. She has joined a religion apparently bent on wiping itself out!

Only in the US can one find somebody who would ask this question. I am amazed, truly amazed.

Islam is just as atrocious as any other religion but to question whether it is so because some tool at Fox News converted... my god, my god...

Oh Lord, save us, please, in these troubled times from such appalling ignorance, from such horrific idiocy, Oh Lord.

Here's a better question: Why did Angela Collins go on FOX news to tell the world about her private beliefs?

I actually don't know who this 'Angela Collins' is, but I DO know one thing: Islam is not a bad religion. Read the Quran yourself and you'll find the answer to your question;)

OMG turn your brain on, it doesn´t matter who converts to Islam, everyone is human and makes mistakes. The whole world could convert to Islam it wouldn´t mean it was right, religion isn´t a democracy where the majority rules.

Truth rules, and Gods way is the ONLY WAY.

Her conversion to Islam neither proves Islam is bad nor good. A person's religious choice is personal, and I don't think it can be used as proof of a religion's worth. I hope that she made the conversion for herself and her beliefs, and I wish her the best in following Islam
