No one is stopping anyone from celebrating Christmas where it should be celebrated. The problem is that Christians want exclusive rights to all the public stuff too. Like having Nativity scenes at all the schools and government buildings. Excuse me, I don't want our taxpayer money to go to fund a nativity scene for a religion I don't adhere to. Not that I'd ever ask for anyone to post my religious symbols in public places. Its not right. The government shouldn't make any law or put any religion in preference to any other.

Below are some of my vids from youtube. Hope you enjoy them and the cool music.

Sort of. The Theocrats have declared a war on anyone who doesn't accept their view that Xmas is only for Christians who agree with their narrow point of view.

As for a war against Xmas? That only exists in the imaginations and propaganda machines of Conservatives and fundamentalists.

Everything is a war these days. It's the new hip thing. There is a war on christianity, a war on drugs, a war on terror, a war on tyrrany, a war on obscenity, you name it and someone thinks we are at war against it.

In my opnion people throw the term "war" around WAY too loosly these days. War is a serious thing and you can't wage war against an idea or a feeling or anything else like that.

The "War on Christmas" is not about stopping it; but rather, turning it into a commercialized Holiday with no reference to the reason for the season or even the story behind it.

have you seen the comic strip where 3 kids are sitting outside the prinicpal's office waiting to see what their punishment is going to be?

1st kid says "I said the F word"
2nd kid says "I said the S word"
3rd kid says "I said Christmas"

when kids start getting in trouble for saying the name of the holiday, it is definately a war on that holiday.

Nobody is. It's the religious folks that celebrate Christmas that are having hissy fits because some stores say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Xmas"

They only want "their" holiday recognized.

Nobody...don't worry. The sun will rise tomorrow and eventually Christmas will come.

Everything will be OK...that is, until we die from cancer, overeating, AIDS, E.Coli, exploding rabbits, driving too fast, looking at midget porn, eating off our left arms, or playing with dynamite...

Other than that, have fun!!

Of course not -- It's just a way that the Theocratic Right is trying to create sympathy for themselves. It's ridiculous

Only if you perceive there to be, and you don't have to participate.
Merry Christmas!
