I recently had a baby 4 months ago. I am turning 18 next week, but am not married. I am a born again Christian and believed that i was going to heaven but do you think that it still applies now that i've sinned horribly?

Sister, do not let the devil torment you with that. You know you slipped up, ask God to forgive your sin, and he will.
God has given you huge blessing in your baby. He loves you even more then you can imagine loving your baby.
Now it is up to you to raise that baby in the ways of God, and do your best to show him/her God in you.
I am a Pastor, and my daughters two best childhood friends have done this very same thing. One now has beautiful 2 year old daughter, and is doing just as I suggested to you. The other just found out 1 month ago, and despite her dad pushing her to murder her baby, she is keeping it and is going to do as I suggested. They are both 19 years old.

If you need anything else please feel free to email me at BBB2165@YAHOO.COM

Love
Pastor Bill

All sins can be forgiven apart from blasphemy of the holy spirit.

Matt 12:31

Forgiveness of sins also requires repentance (a true change and turning away from past sinful ways).

Another important thing to consider is what you mean when you say "born again christian". There is only one way to be saved....Hear Christ preached, believe, repent, confess Jesus is the Christ and son of the living good, be baptized, and live a Godly life. Read Acts to confirm this. Ephesians also speaks well of one God, etc....

hope this helps.

I think you should be unconcerned with "sin" and more concerned with making good choices for yourself and your baby. Are you seriously going to turn to a book to determine how to feel about yourself? You need to think for yourself - do you think having sex before marriage makes you a horrible person? Do you think that after you had sex (before marriage) you were suddenly changed into a person who would treat others badly? Did you notice any change in yourself other than guilt which was induced by your religion?

What were the consequences of this sex before marriage? Did you physically or mentally hurt the person you did it with? I doubt it, unless you are into S&M. The only consequence I see, is that you got pregnant. I don't think that is such a horrible consequence - it is another life.

"For we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God"
You can still go to heaven if you continue to live your life for Jesus Christ and continue to repent of your sins. We all make mistakes. In God's eyes, having pre-marital sex is just as bad as lying. A sin, is a sin, is a sin. I wish you luck with your baby and the future to come. God Bless!

There is no such thing as "sin"....it's actually called "karma".
That is what is meant in the Bible by the word "sin"
So next time you read your bible replace the word "sin" with "karma". It was written this way because that is what the people understood at the time (2000 years ago).

In otherwords:
Jesus didn't die for our so called "sins"...instead, He took on much of our Karma to allievate the suffering of the world.

I hope this helps you with your situation.
In my opinion, sometimes things just happen and then we add our own meaning to it, so take away your added meaning and just look at the thing that happened and be impartial.

Yes just because you have made a mistake does not mean that God can't forgive you. You and the rest of forgiven but not perfect people, are the reason that Jesus came. To seek and save what was lost. Read story of the women caught in sin, Jesus says, "He who is without sin let him cast the first stone." This does not give us a reason to sin more. But is a huge reason to follow the teaching of Christ all the more, one more reason to be grateful.

If you believe that having a beautiful baby is a sin then you are in the wrong religion.

Sister, do not despair. Allah forgives. Pray for forgiveness and believe in the mercy of Allah. Allah says in the Quran: Say: 'O Ibadi (my slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful".

Peace

If you confess your sins to God and retake the right path, there is no reason why He wouldn't forgive you. Keep in mind, He's the only one who truly knows what you are going thru and understands you.

What type of god would create imperfect beings and then expect perfection from them? "According to your beliefs not mine" I don't think there is such thing as perfection.
