im from the US and i believe most are, this happened a few weeks ago on here: someone asked the ? what should a guy do for a girl for homecoming? now we think everyone KNOWS what homecoming is..not true one person answered "welcome home balloons" and say "miss you" alot etc. anyway this person got 26 THUMBS down votes. can you believe it ? was this rude or just people not realizing they may not be from somewhere that celebrates "homecoming". and to them it was someone COMING HOME...hhmm... anyone else have anything to add? i was just curious, and thank you for your additions

He could have been trying to be funny and sarcastic.
But it was really rude of everyone else cause your absolutely right,
He could have been from denmark, or sweeden, or maybe even Iraq. They stil have computers in iraq.

A lot of people assume everyone knows what they are talking about, mainly US people who think thier country is the center of the world. Typical after all they have the world series in Basball & Football(US version) even thought the US is the only country taking part.

What is homecoming anyway?

I'm not sure why anyone would give thumbs down. Unless they thought the person should have already known.People can be ignorant sometimes and maybe they were this time.
