irony?

1. Shooting a PETA member and draping the corpse across your shoulders like you would wear a fur pelt.

2. The fact that thousands of angry muslims seriously want to KILL the Pope for implying that their religion is violent.

3. It took George Bush *this long* to FINALLY go to Vietnam?

on here. I have noticed that athiests post obscene or sarcastic answers or questions relating to the non-existence of God and make it their duty to insult Christians as worshiping a "super-hero like batman" when they praise God. Not all athiests but the ones who dwell in the religion category causing havoc. Where does this acute hatred come from? Why cant all religions and faiths work together to share knowledge and just overall be happy? Not just Athiests, but why do people insult others for not having the same belief as them?

baby diaper changes dont count, unless some bizarre happening goes with it!
The most disgusting thing I have ever come accross was in a mall bathroom, there were about 3-4 guys in there waiting for thier friend to finish going. Not that odd...but they were all in there eating food from the food court! It was just like it was part of the court & they were all there eating & talking loudly & having a good old time. And talking bakc & forth with the other guy in the stall!

To top it off, when the guy came out of the stall, he came out with his empty food tray! He was eating while on the crapper! I have never used a tray from there again!

In my opinion, cops are alot lower on the social scale than many people. I mean, anyone can dodge college, go through a bull**** academy and try to act inferior. Its not my fault that I am 20 yrs old, and make way more money than they ever will, and drive the car of their dreams. The thing is, I do not respect cops for any of the work they do, and no, if I was in real danger, I would not call 911, honestly I am better off helping myself. Also, why is it a big deal when a cop dies, but thousands of people die a day and no one notices.. Does anyone else feel like this? F*** a cop.. they need to find real professions.

I have just begun a Hebraic class which teaches studying the Word of God from the Hebraic culture, history, and context. I am finding out many things I've been taught as a Christian have been misinterpreted because I studied with a Western Thinking. I am looking for resources to help with these studies. I have a Jewish Study Bible and use the Complete Jewish Bible, but I would like some online sources also. I am really looking for a Bible or reference book that references the NT scriptures back to the Torah/Tenakh scriptures.

All through the Bible the punishment for sin is death, not eternal life in torment. a passage in Matthew and Revelation that sound like hell is eternal torment, but a study of them shows them to mean something else. Besides I don't think we should base an entire doctrine of hell on a couple obscure verses when so many more say something else. We are told the punishment was death from the beginning. God told Adam that eating of that tree would bring death. All these are in the Bible: The wages of sin is death. Don't fear him who can kill the body only, but he who can kill the body AND SOUL in hell. The SOUL that sinneth, IT SHALL DIE. This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursings.....choose life (Deut. 30)
The parable of the rich man and Laz. is not a pic of hell or an actual occurrance. Abraham could not have spoken to the rich man. It's a demo of the law and grace. Could hell be where body and soul die???

Yesterday, I saw the movie "The Queen" with Helen Mirren. It really gave me a whole new respect for the Queen. After all, it's not as if she asked for the job and she has really tried to do it to the best of her abilities. However, no matter what she does or doesn't do, there's always someone who disapproves. That being said, though, I have to also say that I'm an American and that I can't imagine what it must be like to live in a country with hereditary titles. After all, we have presidential elections every four years. Do you think that the Queen and the other Royals earn their keep or do you think that Britain would be better off without them?

I know that China is an officially atheist, communist country. I was wondering is what role do local religions, Buddhism, Daoism and Confucism still play in Chinese life? Several Chinese people that I have met believe in reincarnation, a Buddhist idea. How common is this? Also, what role do new religions, as well as Christianity and Islam play in China?

I have read that the old testament is intact, what about the new one/? No offense- I've looked it up, but I find the best bet is to ask actual christians questions. They seem to know more about their own faith. thanks

I'm not sure if I should go to my boss's mother wake/funeral. Never been to this in US :( Isn't it just for family/relatives? I'm working for him for 5 years now, seen his mother may be couple times. I've sent flowers with a note to funeral home, should I still go?

Thanks so much for your help!
